Is it just for me or did the Frozen Beyond voting topic disappear?

I was planning to start looking through all the entries to make up my mind but now I can't find the topic again?

I'm pretty sure the topic was http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=121602 but that just gives me a "Sorry, we couldn't find that! You do not have permission to view this topic."

Yes, same here! Glad I'm not the only one

I believe it's because Ecc forgot the standard rule that only GoH members who joined before the contest are allowed to vote.

Oh, I did not know that there was such a rule for this contest (and I'm fairly sure I should be able to vote )

But why would that rule have been a problem since the voting was done openly? Any invalid votes could have been easily removed before counting them. An automatic poll would probably be harder to limit to certain voters.

No clue. I just know that the rule didn't appear in the voting thread until today when it was locked and now it's gone.

Ok. Well, I assume some kind of voting will happen sooner or later in any case. Now I have some more time to catch up on all the great entries :classic:

The rule was there when I read it. He had made some edits before I had read it, though, because someone posted about incorrect links.

Edit: I just realized something. I believe the Mods can make a thread invisible. The most recent CMF review thread seems to bear this out. White Fang created the thread on Nov. 24, but didn't release it for viewing until Dec. 11.

What are the rules upon usage of LDD?

I made a design for a horse mill for AoM, yet I do not want to sub it, because I feel like I need to make something real. However, I filled in all bricks on bricklink (yeah, that was just as much time as making the model) and it says €127 :D (ofcourse I have some bricks myself so I will need to seek that out and look what I do really need)

Probably I'll make a cheaper version, because the mill itself (all the brown bricks including the saw) costs around 40. horse_mill.png

@dathil: LDD is fine for freebuilds, there are several members who use only LDD. Often it's not allowed for the official challenges, but that doesn't stop you from making unofficial entries.

Great mill design :classic:

You're right!

And yes, we have magical powers to summon topics that were made in the past
