amazing, i like the rocks and the snow effect, how did you do the sideways tower in the middle?

Thanks, and I put the tower at an angle with hinges that attached it to the walls around it. If you have any more questions/comments feel free to post them in the Kaldrfell Castle thread :classic:

Looks great, Sk :sweet:

I'll be with out internet (or too many bricks) for about a month and a half, so I won't be around for awhile :cry2:

I will try to enter the challenge though, at least category A entry :wink:

Alrighty, finally got my Barracks Phase II done today! I'll try to get pics taken and cleaned up in the next couple of days. Then I've got to get on the ball with my CCC plans... :wall:

Here's what I'm currently working on:

After I finish it, I think I'll start on some Challenge I stuff.

Looking good! I'm liking the snow drifts using the rounded bricks, I'm going to need to make a BL order and get a bunch of those. Also your building area looks very clean. When I build there are hundreds of bags of pieces everywhere.

Thanks! And while I'm building the desk gets a bit more crowded  I put away everything everytime I stop building so that when I'm done with a project I don't have to put a ton of parts away. The curved slopes are great for snow, the ones that slope in two directions are under the 'wedge' heading on BL. Just thought I'd mention that as it took me a while to find them

Jodocus Jester swears loyalty to Mitgardia!

Jester, Mitgardian farmer's son, sold as a child to a Nocturnus lord to play the fool.

Escapee, fugitive, abhorrs anything and everything sinister.

Kindly requests shelter and protection in Mitgardia.

Overestimates his own abilities, wannabe knight, hoping to find employment as some great Mitgardian lord's squire :-)

Meanwhile, will dance and jest for food, apply himself to any trade, messaging, cowherding, masonry, carpentry and what not...

Fools around, likes his drink, convinced that his garish outfit will get him saved from the snows whenever he gets himself in trouble again!

Takes himself too seriously - laughs at everyone and everything else!

Just wanna have a good moc(k)ing-time in Mitgardia :pir-laugh::pir-wink:

PS: Can anyone please explain to Jester how he is to include pictures in his posts? He's not very adept at computers and stuff and apologizes in advance - first time in a forum like this  . By the way, Jester himself is in his/my profile-picture. Only thing he could manage just now.

Thnx!

o, i like it, i think it is gonna be a village of some sort, i love the well in the front corner

Thanks, and yes it will be a section of a village.

I can't wait to see it finished! Looks great already.

Thank you, it's moving along pretty quickly.

Hmm, looks like it could be a CCC cross-over....

Yes it is, though the category it's for is probably different than you expect...

Lookin great SK! I got something dragon related up my sleeve. . And it's my biggest build yet! :sweet:

Thanks Infernum, your build sounds great!

Welcome to Mitgardia! Your character sounds really cool  As for posting pictures, this topic should help: link (posting pictures from Flickr is pretty similar, but if you need help just let us know.

And there are some more useful tutorials here: link

looks awesome!

Thanks Legonardo, not nearly as elaborate as your latest build, but I think it will turn out nicely. I'm going to try using one of your roof designs
