Book II - Mitgardia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Sorting and setting up a Mitgardia Border And City Protection Guild "Swords of Protection" .... I have a few persons I like to introduce... But i have problems with deep linking from Flickr... IE 10 Pups up the image link page, but then it is frozen ??

Commander of the Swords is Sigmar Longsword (Blue with golden crown)

The Green Dragons are his bodyguards led by his son Leomar (green)

The Border Knights are led by Odrac (red/grey)

The Town and city watch (blue lion) are led by Agnil

The Grey crown are Free Knight looking for an adenture

Sorry for this way of introducion of key members of the Swords of Protection

On another note, it currently looks like we are raking in all of the new members whereas other guilds go empty. What would you guys think about closing Mitgardia for newbies until the balance is even again?

just wanted to bring this up again, as it got lost on the last page ...

just wanted to bring this up again, as it got lost on the last page ...

It seems to be largely a function of Mitgardia being the only guild with easily accessible building challenge that caters towards new builders in LOM and AOM. The university is nice, but I know I found it rather imposing on first read through with all the mention of "mastery" and "advanced techniques" and such, and the other guilds don't really have anything active at the moment to get new people involved now that the nocturnus tribes event is finished. Closing Mitgardia stops the imbalance, but maybe not until there are attractive building options for the other guilds?

I'm not too sure about closing a guild... When I joined, I wanted to go to Avalonia, but it was closed. And as impatient as I am, I joined Mitgardia... a week after I signed up it reopened. Now with Book II I finally could join the guild of my dreams, but in this moment, it doesn't look as attracting as it was back then. Changing that, making the other guilds look more attractive (as Z did it perfectly with Nocty and also could gather some members for it :classic: . We in Avalonia and Kaliphlin should take that as a perfect example!) can also help out getting a balance of active members in the different guilds.

Closing guilds can be tricky. If someone wants to join Mitgardia and the guild is closed the person maybe just leaves GoH. Then we have lost a member and that´s not want we want I think. Are there any statistics about the members in every guild?
