@DrColossus: That looks good  You can always do free builds for Mitgardia, which just need to be posted in the Guilds of Historica forum like all the other MOCs you see :classic:

Ohhh. OK, thanks, I'll go do that!

And don't forget to link them to the Free Build Registration thread

Tomorrow I'll PM everyone who hasn't sent me their sigfigs before then.

And (yea, I know it was crazy  ) I went through every page of the Book I and Book II Mitgardian threads to get everyone in order

For anyone who is curious, we currently have 38 members, we'll see how many are still around (at least around enough to answer my PM before the 5th) :classic:

Has anyone seen Kai's statistic work over on the Kaliphlin Discussion Board? I think we may need to reconsider the idea of closing Mitgardia to new builders. We are killing the other guilds in number of active members and builds.

Actually, I don't think that's necessary yet at least, because though you guys do have a really impressive number of builds (and once you count the ones that aren't in the Registration thread yet, it must be over 100) a lot of them are fairly (no offence to the builders) small and not extremely well photographed, etc. - which is no problem because that's how we learn, but (though it will give Mitgardia a strong point boost), I don't think it's necessary to close membership as, in point of numbers, I don't think you are too far in advance of other guilds - Garmadon's statistics put you at 38 (Book two), and I would guess only about 20 (likely less) are really active (how's that for a long sentence!). There are probably something like 20 Book two Kaliphlin guild members (glancing quickly through), and at least 12 of them are active. I'm not going to go through the other guild members, but I would guess the numbers are pretty much the same.

So even though you guys are ahead, I don't think you're far enough ahead to make it necessary to close the guild to new members. But of course, that's up to the guild leaders.

I agree with Kai, although we got 38 members, lots of them disappeared pretty quickly, and at most we have 18 builders (some haven't posted their builds in the registration thread) to Kaliphlin's 12. And if we are killing the other guilds, is there any problem with that :wink:

BTW, if anyone wants a whole bunch of Mitgardian statistics, I can get that done :classic:

There! I just finished PMing 28 people (one at a time), every Mitgardian that has posted in this thread except the ones who had less than 10 posts (and those who already PMed me).

@Kabel, sounds great!

Plenty of my houses to be seen here, here or here. Why don't you start with something simple? You should also check out Derfels guide as well as the roof index!

Hope this helps! Just start with a single facade and then try to go for bigger houses.

Looks great, SK

I've got to start working on the AoM myself (I've changed my mind and will do my best to enter all three categories of the HoM :classic: ).

OK, I think I'd like to sign up for Historica, and Mitgardia seems to suit my build style (and also the brick colors I have at home, to be honest...), so... do I need to go somewhere specific to "join"? I'm trying to get familiar with things but I'm a little lost, even though the relevant threads are all stickied. I am a complete newbie with this! Thanks in advance for your help :)

Welcome!

Is this a good pic?

Heres some back ground info:

Story: A 52 year old (well people think that, but actually he is 5200 year old) wandering man

His home stands aside of the Lake, But he's home very often. Always wandering around, He's a wise man and knows a LOT of spells, Each one greater than the other

but they are all, Spell by spell, really great. People saw him use magic, that could be just a farytale but who knows?

as a proud Mitgardian this man will always defend his land with golden sword and staff in hand (the sword he uses for healing,

it will ever only be used for killing bad creatures) and as the grumpy man he is, he will always serve the good!

Class: Wizard, Archer

I hope this is good :)

Swamp dweller I may be, but I'll wager I'm cleaner than you. How long does it take to get the stench out of your lady beards after you've had too much mead and thrown up your guts? And jealous? Most Nocturnian men wonder how you Mitgardian women grow such fine beards. Is it the snow, or perhaps Yeti magic?

Go back to the Hot stinking pits where you belong
