MKJoshA Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I hate it when you can't find pieces you know you have. Very frustrating! Quote
Bkrosell Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I hate it when you can't find pieces you know you have. Very frustrating! you only seem to find them when you don't need them or aren't looking for them. Quote
Rogue Angel Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Thanks for reminding me... I have a bunch of brown suspension arms I ordered off bricknlink for trees, and I haven't been able to find them for the past month! I know they are in the house, and I've probably looked for them a good 10 times now Also, time to Boat Up Mitgardia. Quote
mrcp6d Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Also I adapted my Knights Lance, the last one was a tad long Looking good! (we need to get you some Mitgardian green flags though ) Quote
janatale Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Oh man, I haven't been here in a while, I have missed a ton of awesome creations by the great Mitgardian builders, plus I love the history of the sig figs done by Garmadon. I have been busy working on a large project these past few months, that I decided to set somewhere in Historica. Here are some work in prorgress pics: Enjoy! Quote
Rogue Angel Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 That is stunning Jantale! Can't wait to see the finished product! Quote
Garmadon Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Looking great, Janatale Here is my Archery Phase I Build: Quote
kabel Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 janatale, it's so great that you're building this naval scene right as I was rallying up this guild to build more naval scenes. Great, I love it tremendously! As for this being somewhere in Historica, what do you mean? It's gotta be in Mitgardia of course! Quote
Alfadas Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Don't we have a Hersir for the Navy? That would boost our Navel Mocs. Looking great so far, janatale! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Damn Janatale, that's looking amazing! Can't wait to see it finished. Two small questions: are those Nocturnian flags I spy? And the portcullis- if it's up, and I'm assuming it reaches into the water when down, where's the rest of it? Quote
Yooha Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Lasvor is planning to visit one of his colleague's in Petraea, as long as I'll have time to make the rendering.. Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Looking good! Can't wait to see it finished :) Edited February 11, 2014 by IenjoyLego89 Quote

kevkipo Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Looking great, Janatale Here is my Archery Phase I Build: Nice Garm! Quote
DrColossus Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Not sure if this is the place for this question, but: is there any kind of established religion in Mitgardia? I know there are dwarves, clans, and (relative) newcomer Guilds. Do they all practice different religions, or any at all? Another question is: if I wanted to make ruins of something that kind of looks like a Scandinavian church, but referred to it just generally as some kind of meeting place for the town... would that be fine? (Basically I now have a lot of wood palisade pieces and just learned how to do stained-glass stuff, so I want to combine them in a build I'm planning). Quote
MKJoshA Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Some info about religions in Mitgardia can be found here. However, I think it's pretty open for additions so I would say go ahead! Quote
Garmadon Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Nice Garm! Thanks Not sure if this is the place for this question, but: is there any kind of established religion in Mitgardia? Not really, go ahead and build a church though if you want to (I built a chapel for the University of Petrea a while back) Quote
Gunman Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Great WIP pics Janatale!! Thats going to look gorgeous! Nice Idea for phase 1 Garmadon! Like Quote
DrColossus Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Some info about religions in Mitgardia can be found here. However, I think it's pretty open for additions so I would say go ahead! Thanks! Funny story, and I hope Ecclesiastes doesn't mind me telling it. I was inspired by the forms of Norway's stave churches, so I googled a little to see if anyone had made a Lego version of one. The first (and best) result for that is this model by Ecclesiastes (borrowed from a Pinterest page), which seems to be the basis for his Mitgardian Temple of Ghynran in the section on religion in Mitgardia. Which just goes to show that Ecc is the best, and seriously I want to learn from this dude. Edited February 11, 2014 by DrColossus Quote
kabel Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 there also is the cult of the green and yellow light. And I also made a few monastery scenes. Quote
Infernum Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Darkness In Mitgardia Something's astir at the Nocturnus border... The first installment of a collab between SK and I is posted! Quote
janatale Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 That is stunning Jantale! Can't wait to see the finished product! Thanks! Looking great, Janatale Here is my Archery Phase I Build: Thank you! I love your Archery build, the deer is very well done. janatale, it's so great that you're building this naval scene right as I was rallying up this guild to build more naval scenes. Great, I love it tremendously! As for this being somewhere in Historica, what do you mean? It's gotta be in Mitgardia of course! Our Navy will crush any other guild! I do want to place it in Historica, it just currently has wrong colored flags, but don't worry, I will switch those soon. Don't we have a Hersir for the Navy? That would boost our Navel Mocs. Looking great so far, janatale! Thank you! Damn Janatale, that's looking amazing! Can't wait to see it finished. Two small questions: are those Nocturnian flags I spy? And the portcullis- if it's up, and I'm assuming it reaches into the water when down, where's the rest of it? Thanks, I actually don't own the Mitgardian Green flags yet, but once I do, I will be replacing those horrible Nocturian flag colors. As for the portcullis, I know it doesn't make sense, I added them later and realized my mistake way too late. Plus I'm already very low on grey bricks. For now, I'm just going to say that they don't actually move down, they are decorations (At least until I come up with a better solution. ) Quote
soccerkid6 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 @janatale: That looks most impressive @Infernum: Way to kick things off Here's a last peek at my WIP before I post it (hopefully that will be tomorrow or the next day): I have to say, I think this is my favorite build of my own yet Quote
kabel Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Wow guys, this guild is boiling hot! Really proud to be in the same team with some many great and active builders! Quote
