I feel really bad for MkJoshA, who entered all three categories and didn't win any of them.

Thank you for your sympathies :grin: But it's ok, I wanted to build my entries more for the HSS contest than for the HoM. Winning would have been nice, but I'm happy for those who did :thumbup:

Working on many ideas! Altough it will probably take a while before I'll post something new.

That looks great, SK! I have my Cat A entry ready, might need to change bits, and I don't really have inspiration for the other 2 categories unfortunately. But as soon as I get some, I will start building again!

Hey Isaac, this already looking extremely good. As for my building activities, I am about to do a cat B and C entry and of course constantly trying to enlarge Thoshaven.

Hey everybody. I'm back from my long honeymoon in Europe and excited to get back to MOCing. What's been going on the last 3 weeks? I want to dig into something right away, but need your help to get my bearings. I tried to keep tabs as much as I could but had a lot of problems getting consistent wireless connectivity in Ireland so I'm sure I missed tons. I have one sorta freebuild I finished before I left that I'll post, but it's more of a figarmy/faction thing.

So. Any suggestions? Updates? How's the civil war going? Has Whispering Woods happened yet?

The Civil War is going fine- some pretty nice entries.

Wither Woods hasn't happened yet but will do in a week.

The HoM Challenge has finished and three Hersirs have been elected.

ZCerberus and Torgar have made some amazing collab builds based on the current situation in Nocturnus.

Out of the mist came a small ship, or rather, a large boat. The oars creaking, it came alongside the jetty and a smallish man stepped ashore. The crew made the boat fast, moving in a sure and practiced way. "Please show me to the guard captain" he asked the harbor hand that was approaching. "I hear there is a battle brewing and I would be sorry to be left out of it." "And by the way, my friend, perhaps you may know who'd be interested in a perfectly good bargain for a shipload of goat salami? It seems I am in need of coins."

Torsten of Horssten is pledging for Mitgardia.

Also known as Torsten the short. Gentle of spirit but quick to anger. He is leading a squad of Horsstenian heavy guards and works as a one man embassy and trade master of the house of Horssten. Horssten is a small island of the coast. When seeking combat he is accompanied by his friend and mentor, the water priest Herrick, a renowned field cleric and healer. Blessings anyone? Elementals to quench? Coming right up!

Cat B for Avalonia Challenge? I am having a bit of trouble following what everybody's referring to presently. Too long away.

Category B for Challenge II , the challenge takes place in Avalonia but all guilds are supposed to help them. Lots more info here: link

I have a question that I don`t immediatly find back in the topics of GoH.

Being part of Mitgardia, does that mean all occassional, non related to some sub competition, freebuilds HAVE to be set in the Mitgardian theme?

Concretely, I`m currently tinkering on a small pagoda style build, for a nephews chinese birthday buffet where everyone has to bring a piece of the table ornament, so of course the `strange uncle` is tinkering with his bricks. But the only oriental part of the guilds if going by the various descriptions is set in Kaliphim apparently.

So if I build the thingie, and post it, does that then count for the Quarterly Freebuilds for Mitgardia? Or does it fall out of calculation as it is set in another guild? My sigfig for example wouldn`t be in it, as an armoured knight doesn`t really fit in with the look...

I have done many mocs in mitgardia and kaliphlin! :) and they count towards Avalonia! Your sigfig could change clothes and be more civilian looking?;)

Great challenge two entries! You guys really raise the bar quite high.

Maybe I'll start building this weekend but it'll be tough to keep up with all the great entries seen so far.
