Welcome to Mitgardia Stian Vitr :) nice idea with the house colours, can't wait to see what you build :)

Thanks for the welcome! I just hope I find enough time to build my ideas.

Welcome to the North Stian Vitr. I'm liking the Blar Flaki Ridders and look forward to their adventures :)

Thanks! I have many ideas to incorporate as time allows.

Welcome Stian Vitr! You chose the right guild.

Thanks, I think so too. I just hope I find enough time to make significant contributions to make the best guild better.

I have posted my first build for AoM.

AoM: Barracks Phase I

Please let me know if I have done this correctly.

I also have a WIP for AoM: Stables Phase I. I would like some feedback before posting. Where would be the best spot to do this? Should I open a new topic and edit it later when I am satisfied with my build?

Thanks,

Well, technically green should be at a higher level than brown. So having the brown melt into green at the edges looks a bit odd. As for the inside green, it depends on what you're going to put on top - if you plan on putting corn/pumpkins over most of it I would say it doesn't make much difference. On the other hand if you're going to leave it open for animals, the same green-above-brown probably applies.

Actually as someone who has worked a garden, the dirt is tilled up, so brown above green makes sense here.

For the pumpkins, I wouldn't attach them to the top of the leafy pieces. Instead I would use some Indiana Jones whips attached to the top of the pumpkins, and stretch the whip out around the plant part with a lime 1x1 round plate on top.

I'm going for the tilled-up dirt look, with the grass growing up through at spots.

Still torn between a broken-up ground or a solid one with grass pieces here and there.

@gedren_y Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try.

Posted in the wrong guild!  Move along! Nothing to see here! (or you can see it in the Avalonian thread soon! ;))

I guess "really wants to join Mitgardia"!

I have updated my AoM: Barracks Phase I build.

I also posted the two following builds:

AoM: Archery Phase I

AoM: Stables Phase I

I also made a quick little build of what I did on Saturday, as I thought it related to Mitgardia. During the winter, we heat our house using a wood-burning stove. This means that we need to stockpile wood ready to burn before winter sets in. We hauled several loads of wood to our wood-storage shed and split many of the larger logs into more manageable logs that will burn better.

Yeah a teaser would be nice.

I'm currently working on farm phase lll, and gatehouse phase lll. Had a gatehouse lll ready, but wasn't happy with it.
