I often go to Brickfactory if I need to look up some LEGO catalog information. But lately my computer has warned me not to enter their site because of malicious MALWARE.... Are they even aware that their site has been affected?

It's been at least a few weeks now??

I used that site too, but the latest sets aren't there, for some reason, so I decided to use brickset.com, I like that site better. I haven't been on brickfactory for half a year orso, so I don't know if there is MALWARE. I am sure though that other persons have the same problem.

I don't get a message in Safari... hmmm, we better let him now, it is now and then nice for stickers. I don't get a message in Chrome (OS X) either!

We have been informed about this, and checked the site. We cannot find any malware. Somehow the Google Chrome browser thinks there is.

Please clean your browser history/Cache to resolve the problem.

with regards,

the brickfactory admin

I go to the site and it says: "Your browser does not support Javascript!". Since you guys are reporting malware, it shall stay this way.

I use Brickset, Rebrickable, Peeron, Bricklink, etc. instead.

I got the message while going to the site a while back, and was quite confused as the site had never given me problems before. Oddly, it said that the .jpg images of all things were malware, which seemed really weird to me. So I continued onto the site... Didn't have a single issue, heck, I even downloaded and checked the jpg images it was flagging and they came out clean. False alarm, people, the site's fine, and free of malware - and also has a lot of cool stuff other sites don't, so it's your loss if you're choosing not to use it. No problems here.

Well I was the person who originally reported this... and the site no longer gives me problems...

I didn't want to cause a panic... but getting that message was a bit jarring. All appears fine now....
