It's been awhile since I posted anything, but I decided to finish off the 7th floor of my 4 year project (yeah it has been that long). Hope you enjoy the quick tour of the Black Lance Guildhouse: 7th Floor.

Please note that the portals were not done correctly due to lack of pieces, but everything else is basically finished.

The 7th floor is divided into two separate rooms: The vault and the guild lounge.

In order to ensure the guild members can thoroughly relax, a full bar was installed with plenty of beverages and a full-time bartender to ensure specialty drinks can be prepared. He has won various trophies and is fully capable of fulfilling his duties.

However, for those not looking for specialty beverages, mead, ale, and wine are also supplied to this floor as well. For those who are not necessarily into those beverages, a barrel of water is also provided.

Guild members are highly encouraged to tell tale's of their great adventures. The seat of honor allows guild members to put themselves at the center of attention as they tell stories or show off great trophies!

And why not listen to these stories while enjoying a tasty beverage! It is all about relaxing after difficult quests.

Some guild members enjoy games of wit and skill. A King's Table (credit to idea comes from Garmadon from EB forums) board was built in the lounge for those who wish to challenge others to a tactical game. Here we can see a mage and a knight engaged in a game.

Paintings and various decorations in the lounge.

This area is one of the more comfortable areas of the lounge. A small table (typically used for playing cards or just discussing various things) and fireplace add a nice home-like feel to the floor.

Of course, sometimes after difficult quests, you just want to collapse on the nearest couch!

Now, onto the vault.

The vault requires two keys to unlock. They are carried specifically by the Guild Master and his wife (who I would not want to mess with either). The door itself cannot be damaged, making it perfect for guarding guild treasure.

The guild vault holds many valuables including gold and gems (which I need much more of).

Crafting embers (these happen to be for obsidian and ice-steel weaponry).

Legendary Weapons

Gold Ingots

Magical Trinkets that grant strength, magic, stamina, or speed enhancements.

Crystal Shards, which are useful for crafting powerful, magic, items

The magic wisp (light in a jar), and last, but not least, the Shield of Zyrx, which magically protects the entire guildhouse.

I hope you enjoyed this quick tour through the floor.

Two more floors left to go...

As usual

Why are all the bricks verticle on the walls without weaving for extra strength? Or is this on purpose for the look?

That's a good question actually. The reason behind that is that it was much more simple to build it in vertical walls. This particular build uses to layers of plates at the top of each individual floor to fortify the walls. While it would be much more stable with weaving, I kind of needed to buy black bricks in bulk so this seemed a much better option. As it stands now, it is really stable with the two levels of plates.

Wow! Great work! Feels very much like a lounge, which is what you were going for. Love the gold accents! You have way more pieces than me, I don't have anywhere near the amount of black you used in this floor. . Anyway, will you remove the gold slopes on top of wall when you make the next floor? :classic:

All the gold slopes will remain to keep the tower from shifting since each floor takes up one baseplate. The picture below shows the slopes still there (and adding a gold trim to the guildhouse itself).

Nice interior with a lot of interesting details!

Impressive project as well, are the other floors furnished as well? Do you have older threads with these...? :classic:
