Love it, Rook. The platform is a great mix of curves and angles and smooth bits and greebles, the clouds are perfect, and the ship looks like it could be right out of one of the concept art pieces for the OT. Only one big complaint: The sky isn't blue on Bespin! Making that orange would make this pretty much perfect. Edit: See posts below

On the moc, I find it very beautiful, one suggestion though, maybe you should have shown some citizens evacuating, not only soldiers.

But I think the orange would still make it more Bespin-esque, and less likely to be confused with a platform in the sea on Kamino.

Very nice build. I really like the platform and all the detail under the bridge supporter! The ship is also good looking and has the SW feel! However those blue plates look too much like water. What I'd do, is make the 2 clouds a bit bigger, and make the supporters come out of the clouds. This way could discard the plates and it would look like it's floating in the air ...

Brilliant as usual, but I’ve come to expect nothing less from you. I did not mistake the blue base plates for water at all with the addition of the beautifully done clouds.

What I'd do, is make the 2 clouds a bit bigger, and make the supporters come out of the clouds. This way could discard the plates and it would look like it's floating in the air ...

I was thinking about it. You’ll note there’s some trans pieces down on the ground (sky), I’m planning on doing some more on it and using it for a window display, but I had other builds that were taking priority so I had post what I had finished.

About the bkue sky... what bothers me is that the "sky" is placed under the platform, and if you look downward from a high place, the "air" won't be blue (you can try this at home )

At yes, very true. When I had built it I was planning on using it for a window display and having the panels in the display be blue as well. Now I'm only going to display it at the LDC so maybe I'll change it before it's displayed there.

These clouds are indeed really cool. I love the bulky design of your ship. Seems like the Empire awaits us at every single landing platform. Good to know we have such strong ships.
