Wait. The fire lion will be £40? I'll miss it. No way would I waste my money on that thinking about it.

I agree, though the set has a very Garmatron feel to it. The price seemed outrageous for the Garmatron, but in hand it seemed all too worth it. I'm hoping that the Fire Lion is similar.

Seriously, no Bears!

I totally agree! I am quite disappointed with Lego's take on the bears in general, even in the first Chima wave. Bladvic gets no weapons, and doesn't fight at all! He just stands there and sleeps!

However, I still would love a figure for completion (I have every Chima minifig ever to date). But LEGO still doesn't make him! Please if anyone of you readers works for LEGO let them know we want a bear! Thanks!

I have a feeling that they are being set aside for the 2015, a la saving the Rhinos for 2014 (albeit just the first wave). Dom de la Woosh, and the Beavers would also be nice, but they're not that high on my priority list compared to a fully armored Shadowind.

Let's hope that the new Dorling Kindersley book brings us a really, really nice minifig!

I think the minifig might be Queen Crunket because she has parts that exist and she would be a nice minifigure to get.

Past books have given us figures that are different versions of Minifigures we already have, but usually with no new parts, so I think both is likely.

I personally want a fully armored ShadoWind, he'd be the perfect minifigure!

Would the helmet not require a new mold? Either way, he'd be a great addition to any collection (sound like a salesman don't I?) As for Crunket, I'm glad I'm not the only one who wants her.

I know it would require a new mold, and that's points against him.

There's actually quite a few options for the figure:

Lion Tribe Elder

Queen Crunket

Full armor ShadoWind

Eagle Tribe Elder (The one with the light blue dress in the TV series)

Ripnik the Raven.

I'd like the exclusive figure to be something really special, but I have a feeling it'll be something rather simple. I doubt it'll be any form of bird character since I assume that the figure wil have to be assembled and placed in the little plastic blister that's part of the books cover - I imagine any winged character would prove too troublesome to fit. I'm expecting something like a young Laval or something along those lines.

Knowing TLG, it's safe to say that the exclusive figure will probably not be anything at all special; the likelihood is we will get some kind of variant of something we already have. A Bear or something like that would be nice, but I don't suppose it's at all likely.

We're absolutely not going to get a bear as a book-exclusive fig until there's a bear head mold. It'd have to be something from an existing tribe.

I haven't followed the series well enough to know what major characters have had significant costume changes, if any. It doesn't have to be a major character (the Yoda Chronicles guide book and the Minifigures Character Encyclopedia broke from that tradition already), but it seems more likely than getting a fig less familiar to a casual fan.

Worriz and Razar in their grey jungle armor would be awesome, since they don't appear in the sets in that armor, but at the same time that might be a bit underwhelming since I believe both of them share Cragger, Laval, and Gorzan's torso style with only unique kneepads to distinguish them.

Queen Crunket (minus her crown) could be possible, but she's a secondary character with no appearances in the sets, so maybe not the most likely.

It's also possible it could be Laval or Cragger in a costume we haven't seen yet. Don't forget that we got our first pics of the Lloyd Garmadon fig from the Ninjago Character Encyclopedia before he wore that costume in the show.

I'm guessing Panthar. Why create an Ultrabuild with no intention of fully realizing the character?

If it's a Bear, it would be Bungey, Bumpy or Bozy, because Bladvic and Ballar are the main Bears. Similarly, the white Beaver would be the most likely Beaver. If they put either species in the book, they would have plans to release them later on.

I would much rather have ShadoWind with his helmet, capes and shoulder pads over a new character. I'm thinking a polybag set with the Power Building of his tent in Legends of Chima Online.(One of my in-game friends has the ShadoWind power in-game, don't ask)

The odds are hat I won't buy the book regardless of the minifigure, but it would be nice if the minifigure was something relatively unique rather than a variant of a character like Cragger or Laval. If they want to do character variants, it would be better if the minifigure was a variant from one of the new tribes being introduced in the Summer wave. My expectations aren't at all high, but TLG may surprise us yet.

What about Rogon in his fire variant? They would get another chance to use the Rhino mold in this wave (which is not in any sets in this upcoming wave).

That's entirely possible, but it'd be rather underwhelming since most of the fire variants of existing characters seem to have identical costumes, so a fire-variant Rogon would not be likely to feature any unique prints. Not certain, of course, since Eris has both a unique headgear print (with a red crown instead of a gold one) and a unique torso print (since she is the only returning female character). Maybe Rogon might be another exception.

It would be a downside for us if it is the same print, but perfect for Lego- they don't have to design another print for him.

For a set, yes, that'd be great, but for a book that is supposed to have an exclusive fig as a selling point, I don't know that the reduction in production cost would really be worth the figure's likely failure to measurably boost sales the way a true exclusive might.

It would still be an exclusive figure- he isn't in any set this wave. At the same time, his torso (and maybe his legs, although those would probably have to be a new print. I guess they can use Worriz's) would be reused if the parts really are the same. So he would be an exclusive figure with non-exclusive parts. Maybe they could change something, but it is not necessary.
