Agent Fusion Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 I saw some footage of the scene where Panthars' identity is revealed. LEGO, you actually managed to surprise me. Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Which do you guys think is better, Laval's Royal Fighter or Laval's Fire Lion? Quote
Agent Fusion Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I would say the Fire Lion. The Minifigure selection is better, and the general aesthetic beats the Royal Fighter. The functions are superior as well. Quote
Godtshep Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Which do you guys think is better, Laval's Royal Fighter or Laval's Fire Lion? Definitely the Fire Lion. Quote
DuckBricks Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I saw some footage of the scene where Panthars' identity is revealed. LEGO, you actually managed to surprise me. Yeah, that was surprising indeed! Good to hear we're getting another Fire vs Ice Wave... I'm curious about how the name "Panthar" arises... Does Tormak become a vigilante Batman-like character and re name himself? Because he is still technically a tiger. And how does Eris see the future? Which do you guys think is better, Laval's Royal Fighter or Laval's Fire Lion? The Fire Lion. Although the tank looks more like an actual lion in my opinion (no Trans orange and red) the Fire Lion has a GREAT transforming feature using Technic beams that I was quite impressed with for a Chima set. It almost felt like a Technic set! Quote
Godtshep Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I got the newest Chima magazine from Morrison's in Camborne the other day, and it's a good buy for 2 minifigs and a build-able item. Some may say say it is overpriced at £4.50, but with 2 minifigures (one being rather uncommon I think) it's a great deal! Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 We got Vorvon in the newest magazine. In the next Polish edition of CHima Mag. we will get ICE PRISON and AXE. Quite nice. Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Where are the new Speedorz? They aren't on S@H and we haven't even seen pics of them yet, AFAIK. Quote
just2good Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Where are the new Speedorz? They aren't on S@H and we haven't even seen pics of them yet, AFAIK. They're definitely cancelled, unfortunately. Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) Oh! That's odd. Edited September 1, 2014 by Sir Brickalot Quote
8BrickMario Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Fang Trap, Frozen Fortress, and Lava Breakout...cancelled? No Fire Razar and Rogon? Darn it. Why are there so many problems with Chima releases this year? Quote
PenPlays Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Since Fire and Ice will be continuing into next year. I wouldn't be surpirsed if they were purposely pushed back. I mean there are no Speedorz in the LoC 2015 set list. Also remember that there is no official proof that they are canceled. I wouldn't get too disappointed yet. There is still hope. Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 ^ I hope you are right. I usually dislike Speedorz, but the new design intrigues me. Quote

You're right, I didn't think about that. Heck, we may even get the Ultra Builds then in the states. Quote
Godtshep Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Two figures? Which ones? Worriz and Vornon. Quote

I wish, but of LEGO officially announced that we won't get then there probably is no hope... That's why I bought them for a premium in Asia on vacation,.. Quote
TheOneVeyronian Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 (edited) Sorry to bump an old topic, but I just noticed this accessory pack on Brickset. What immediately grabbed my attention about it though is the fact that it contains the first non-polybag appearance of Sykor and Frax, so great news for those who don't want to track down the polybags! No word on where it's available yet, but I presume S@H will have it very soon EDIT: It also appears to have a dark or gunmetal grey version of this part, but I don't know if that's just the lighting in this case. krystalKING Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Your eyes either do not decieve you, or I see the same thing, I think that is Gunmetal! I have got to order that, as I'm still filling out my Outlands wave, looks like I'm going to start buying second handed if I'm falling behind this year. Quote
Mikuri Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 (edited) Sorry to bump an old topic, but I just noticed this accessory pack on Brickset. Cool! Thanks for letting us know, I'll have less trouble finding those minifigures :D! But Worriz in this set is kinda sad, got so many in sets and S@H freebies lol Edited September 12, 2014 by Mikuri Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Another Worriz?! Come on. And "unique figure" Frax too?! I wished for Leopard or tiger. Quote
8BrickMario Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I didn't expect anything new, and it's a great way to get Frax and Sykor in one place. Since when have these battle packs had new characters, though? Unless it's generic City figs, these are just supplements to the sets. That gunmetal building blaster looks great! Quote
just2good Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 (edited) Here's a look at the Sykor polybag, which I found at Toys"R"Us today. Overall, fantastic polybag here! Not only do you get an exclusive minifigure (besides his appearance in the minifigure blister), but there's some uncommon castings (the front "hook" pieces and back hilt pieces- there's two of both, and the roof tiles in that light brown color). The build itself is great for a polybag build, as well. It goes good with the other ice Chima vehicles, and acts as a scouting vehicle. Edited September 14, 2014 by just2good Quote
