Posted August 16, 201311 yr You know what Oscar says? ;D We're just trying to do our part in providing the world with another meme ;) This is our second entry for our Iron Builder against the Erickson brothers, using the green spike piece. Also, this model is quite large and uses 300! of the green Iron Builder spikes. All elements are official Lego including the crushed can (which is the valentines card rolled in between two wheels). Thanks for visiting our little piece of a Lego Sesame Street! Edited August 16, 201311 yr by Siercon and Coral
August 16, 201311 yr Nice job, you really captured the look (and the grouchiness) of Oscar with your creation. And the trash is really cool looking too.
August 16, 201311 yr Just saw this one on Flickr. You did an excellent job using these spikes. I wonder how many of them are in this MOC. I like the other details like the trash can, apple, banana peel and can too. NPU on the palm tree leaves as well. Now go buy a lot of blue spikes and make a cookie monster as well!
August 16, 201311 yr One word: Awesome! Very fitting. The only qualm I have is no Slimey the worm. Great use of the spike piece. I didn't even know it came in green. I may have to look into some of those for the future. Keep up the good work. Best of luck!
August 16, 201311 yr Brilliant MOC! Creative use of green spikes to create Oscar! I like the way you did the apple, banana and trash can too! Edited August 16, 201311 yr by Purpearljellyblob
August 17, 201311 yr LOL! This is excellent, really funny! I love the way you made Oscar (and the banana, and the apple ) The whole picture is really amazing!
August 21, 201311 yr AWESOME. As a father of a two year old, Sesame Street is enjoying quite the renaissance lately. Love seeing this. Slimey would be an easy addition, I think... This MOC begs the question - why no Sesame Street/Muppets Lego sets???
August 21, 201311 yr Absolutely amazing!! The green spikes actually create a very accurate looking texture.
August 21, 201311 yr This MOC begs the question - why no Sesame Street/Muppets Lego sets??? I think that a Sesame Street/Muppets sets would be a great idea! Probably in Duplo for the younger builders. Edited August 21, 201311 yr by wildanimal888
