Loaders usually are pretty huge in comparison to trucks and excavators, especially the big Caterpillar and Volvo models.

True! The wheels are huge.

That's a scraper. Road Graders have the cabin at the back - scrapers have it at the front. Funny that this is the same B-model as the 2003 8451, though!

You're right. I wasn't aware of the the difference.

That 1st half line up should be added in the dictionary under disappointment, in my opinion it looks like they scrapped the bottom of the barrel this year.

Not entirely (imho). The plane is awesome and the new parts are great.

That is definitely a grader. A scraper typically is like a backhoe but instead of a digger arm, it has a scraping blade as a rear attachment.

Unless the terminology is not the same on both sides of the atlantic ...

I've always understood it's the same thing. And searching Google gives me that result - both shows what I know as a grader.

The 1st half line up is preety decent, after seeing all the detailed pictures i think there are a couple of great sets. I especially like the dump truck and the hot rod. Generaly i only collect trucks and construction machines, but the hot rod is a mush have

The 42023 B-model, shown on the laptop icon on the box, is a scraper. The 42024 B-model is a grader. Maybe I've not been specific enough.

Dunno what that B model is, might be a grader, might be a scraper, definitely looks ugly from that box shot :)

Scraper = scraper, can, pan, or buggy. Scraper probably the most common term, it's what Cat use.

It is hinged in the middle. It is definitely a scraper.

Yeah, it's something like that.

Then I guess it's a scrader. Or a graper. :P

lol, I've never seen a real-life graper

On the subject of the suspension arms, how did Sariel get them? Just cutting A-arms? He told me a hamster brought them

The Container Truck has license plates:

CU 11014

Any idea what this means? I've been looking for a designer with initials CU but to no avail, or haven't been looking properly.

"See you 1/10-14" ? Release date January 10?

I see, I didn't find a proper scraper on Google until now

Yee Haw! I uploaded most of the pictures to my Brickshelf account, for your viewing pleasure.

Hope I'm not to late

42021 B model is a snow bike similar to this

I agree cargo plane is one must have set, pity that 9396 has typical helicopter rotors that would be ugly on VTOL aircraft made from cargo plane.

Removed images from quote

Igor, please don't quote images unless really necessary. You can remove them when quoting. Thanks!

sorry. I use server os and did not see images on my browser when quoting. Next time I'll just copy/paste text

No worries

You can use the quote button, but you will need to remove the images from your quote. Unless you are quoting an old post and it's useful to include the image.

Wouldn't it be strange using US format for date for sets designed/created in EU?

Would seem strange, but I don't know how many countries use the US format and how many use the European format.
