December 1, 201311 yr i hope the new panels from the plane comes in more colors in 2H Edited December 1, 201311 yr by Eigenbroetler
December 2, 201311 yr Meh. I was excited for these sets a few weeks ago, even with great reviews from everyone, now I'm already tired of them... I think I'll be going back to good old bricks and plates now, Technic sets just went down the drain when they introduced studless.
December 2, 201311 yr With the introduction of 11954 in the Mobile Crane Mk2, I was under the impression that 62531 is old history. Yet, the latter shows up in the container truck 42024 from 2014 1H. Will the two parts co-exist together for some time then? Or possibly TLG is liquidating some old stock of 62531 and the two will be 'counter-parts' for some time? Edited December 2, 201311 yr by DrJB
December 2, 201311 yr I was expecting the same, the thing is that the original version is better for styling so hopefully the lego group will keep making it for this reason. Edited December 2, 201311 yr by Alasdair Ryan
December 2, 201311 yr i hope the new panels from the plane comes in more colors in 2H True that. I reckon yellow will follow pretty soon, followed by black and then red. This is not based on any knowledge, just a wild guess.
December 2, 201311 yr you can see on Brickshelf images of new suspension parts at http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=536914 Brickshelf gallery is by user TheScooterGuy, not mine. Anyway great suspension parts for buggies or trophy truck vehicles...
December 2, 201311 yr Dates and UK Stock is what we want. Will Lego VIP Members get 1s dibs? Toys R Us will probably have them for sale before Lego does.
December 2, 201311 yr I believe that if one of us is interested in a particular new set, He must not read the review of this set, even if done well (Jim, my biggest congratulations :)) In addition He doesn't have to see videos like "time lapse building"... the construction and functions have to be a surprise! I will watch all the wonderful review, except that the set 42025! : p I'm sorry for my bad English!
December 2, 201311 yr 42024 is really nice,is the plane the usual large march set? Also any idea will we see a pneumatic set for 2h2014 I wonder?!
December 2, 201311 yr Unlike previous years this time the biggest 1H Technic set (42025) is also a January release in several countries (don't know which ones). Forgot to add this in my review, but I'm still in time to update it.

Forgot to add this in my review, but I'm still in time to update it. It's unusual to get a large set for 1h. So what's the march set this year? Conchas do u think a pneumatic set is likely for 2h 2014?
December 2, 201311 yr I certainly hope we get pneumatics. After this mildly disappointing wave (except maybe the airplane), we (or at least I) need something like D3K's recovery vehicle, not like the two small cylinders and nothing else in 42008. Edited December 2, 201311 yr by TwentyLeggedHen

December 2, 201311 yr There's two small cylinders in the service truck? Ah, sorry I was too lazy to look up the set number.. Edited. By the way, what is the other cylinder for? I can't see it in any of the pics on BL.
December 3, 201311 yr This time at TBs, a great review for the 42022 Hot Rod, by my fellow Nathanael Kuipers! http://www.technicbricks.com/2013/12/tbs-techreview-31-42022-hot-rod.html
December 3, 201311 yr By the way, what is the other cylinder for? I can't see it in any of the pics on BL. One cylinder is used to extend the boom, the other to extend the 'lifting fork' at the end of the boom.

December 3, 201311 yr I really like the Hot Rod, i think the stickers make it pop ! I really hope that the flagship of 2014 is going to be designed by UW, i just love all the sets that he designed.
December 3, 201311 yr Last night couldn't sleep, so was browsing on the vast wasteland that is e-bay. It occurred to me that a large farm-related set is long overdue, perhaps another pneumatic/LA integration opportunity for 2H14? A car carrier, done Technic style, would also be cool as a flagship model. Also noticed that the 8101 Unimog is finally listed as "call to check availability," indicating its days of availability are numbered. Many of the remaining 2012 9*** series sets are no longer available on S&H as well.
December 3, 201311 yr One cylinder is used to extend the boom, the other to extend the 'lifting fork' at the end of the boom. I own the Set 42008: the idea of using two mini-cylinder is good, but the functionality is really bad!
December 3, 201311 yr Light blue panels from hot rod + orange parts from unimog = Edited December 3, 201311 yr by Eigenbroetler
December 3, 201311 yr BLASPHEMY!! I think this is the car you meant: Still, your point is valid! Now we just need all other kinds of parts in light blue as well!
