December 7, 201311 yr Yeah, that's what I did with 4L stop axles. I bought 40 of them, which apparently is just enough, I only have 4 of them left.

December 7, 201311 yr I don't know, stuff. They run out faster than you think, especially when you're building something big.

December 8, 201311 yr Here is the cost of most of the new parts if anyone is interested... Dogbone Frame: .49 <- I expected this to be more 3L long axle pin: .17 5L axle with stop: .16 New worm gear: .41 3 x 11 white panel: $1.36 Suspension Arm: .63 New Hub: .28 New Linkage: .72 <-This seem high for this small part
December 8, 201311 yr Wow, everything is actually a lot cheaper than I expected! Even though I'm mostly a studded builder, I'll be stocking up on dogbone frames, 3L axle pins, 5L stop axles, and suspension parts. The price for the linkage is ridiculous though, that's odd.
December 8, 201311 yr Agreed regarding the linkage price.. I also can't think of very many situations where two 3L thin liftarms and a couple of axle pins won't do the same job as the new linkage!
December 8, 201311 yr Agreed regarding the linkage price.. I also can't think of very many situations where two 3L thin liftarms and a couple of axle pins won't do the same job as the new linkage! I agree. Maybe the new part was designed to solve some other problem that couldn't be solved with existing parts, and then they used the part in the snowmobile because it was available? Maybe we'll see the part in a 2H 2014 model in a context where it makes more sense.
December 9, 201311 yr They should scale up the twin rotor helicopter (read Chinook). Give it power function rotors, winch and ramp. Also perhaps power function cargo hooks on the bottom fuselage. The real Chinook has three.
December 9, 201311 yr With its light blue panels and the flame stickers, the 42022 would be perfect for a mirthmobile (from Wayne's World) : Party on ! Edited December 9, 201311 yr by Leewan
December 9, 201311 yr I think Wayne and Garth would make a MOC of this vehicle - and not a bad idea for 2H2014, has some interesting PF, and the air compressor can simulate the flow of concrete through the tubing Edited December 9, 201311 yr by JGW3000
December 9, 201311 yr The new suspension links probably for a new suspension setup, the part with the 4 balljoints... i don't know.
December 9, 201311 yr I already have a new chassis/suspension ready to go.. Just waiting on my parts order to replace the regular 5L liftarms in it with the new suspension arms and 5L axle with stop... Only bad thing is I built it to work with those crappy new hubs from the 42000...

And yep, does look like a great model! An imaginative proposal too.
December 10, 201311 yr Those angled legs would be a real pain to build,as much as it would be a great model I don't think we will see that kind of truck for a while.
December 10, 201311 yr I don't know, stuff. Hahaha! That's my kind of answer! Mainly for the wife: "Gee, what are you up to?", "Huh, err, stuff..." This would be cool:
December 10, 201311 yr I'd love to see a tipper truck with suspension and realistic rear tandem axle.
