I've just got some new information about the 2H2014 Lego sets thanks to one of the online Lego shop in Hungary.

Technic set numbers for the summer wave:

42030 - Unfortunately the name of the set is not known yet, it contains 1626 pieces and the price is about the same as the previous years mobile crane MK II 59875 HUF ~ 200 EUR I guess it is some kind of RC set.

42029 - It is a kind of truck or lorry at the price of 23915 HUF ~ 80-90 EUR

Hope we'll get more info soon.

Happy New Year! :classic:

Thanks! With that price and part count, it does sound like it may be RC. It could also have a large use of pneumatics.

I'm kinda curious what 42029 might be. It sounds like another vehicle in the same size category as the service truck.

I am really hopping that there will be another construction equipment, returning to lego just last 2012 is so hard for me since i missed a lot of great construction sets, i only got the 8043, 42006 and the 42009. i love construction related sets. city theme let me down as rumors claim that there will be no construction related sets on 2h14

I think people would have posted if they knew anything about the 2H sets. No use in 'bumping' the topic like this.

It's an active tread so I bumped nothing but thanks for ur input!

Thanks menad for the info :)

Happy new year everyone,

just found some Info on the 2H14 sets on the hungarian site where member CM4S found the new trains too.

there is two sets as of yet:

http://www.legomarkabolt.hu/index.php?oldal=katalogus&by=csoport&cs=60&n=42029

Set-Number: 42029

Name: some kind of "small" truck (google says...)

Package weight 1.7 kg

Estimated price: 80 euro (converted from HuF)

and

http://www.legomarkabolt.hu/index.php?oldal=katalogus&by=csoport&cs=60&n=42030

Set-Number: 42030

Name: (google says... nothing, but original hungarian name: Hianyzik ?)

Package weight 3.3 kg

Estimated price: 200 euro (converted from HuF)

Quantity of Parts: 1626

This seems to be the new flagship set.

Can anyone take more information out of the hungarian site? natives anyone?

TBS: I think those prices could be wrong. I recall we had some Hungarian prices for the 1H sets (I think from that same site) that indicated 42005 would be a massive 200 euro truck. Unless ofcourse they mixed it up with 42030.

This means 'Missing'

The package weight of 42030 is almost the same s he 42009 according to amazon. With about 1000 less pieces that's either wrong or a lot of motors.

Or then some new sort of controller, like a new PF Control Center or some kind of simple programmable device...

Really miss one Technic set like the old 8479 Barcode Multi-Set - The second best flagship of all time IMHO.

Sooner or later something like this must return into the LEGO Technic assortment.

I think we found biggest lego mystery for 2H  .I have no idea what it can with that price and piece count, except that is motorized for sure.

Power puller wheels would be awesome. But I guess the most likely option is PF or maybe RC stuff.

Or the price could simply be incorrect, as it has been incorrect before. Don't get your hopes up too much.

My apologies if this was already covered and I just couldn't find it. Does anyone know when the 1h sets will be available in the U.S.? Thanks!

Useless post that!

If it is €200 it should be a set that's quiet spectacular. Let's hope for some sort of large pneumatic rc set but I'm not getting to hopefull yet :)

It's not useless at all. Prices have been proven wrong in the past, so that can be the case again.

It was a joke Jim :) I know prices can be wrong.

That piece count indicate, that this price is true and we are getting, based on previous years, some biggest PF motorized set of technic history.Off course there can be mistake, but only I see 3 kg too heavy for lego rc powered vehicle so I bet that this is false.

Davidmull dont be rude at other people, I dont see your post funny but kinda offensive. Also your bumping threads is legendary and unnecessary...

Piece count was also wrong the last time if I recall correctly. However, I hope to be proven wrong. I'm not going to speculate, I'll just wait for the Nuremberg toy fair come February, then we will get pictures.

I've told him this several times, wish a moderator would tell him this already. Perhaps he would listen then.

It's clear!!! Let's finish the public debate about this. I'll take it from here

8 new models in 1H 2014 if I recall correctly, and usually 2H flagship is "The" flagship, right?

Is an acurate average 8 1H and 8 2H then? Is it unusual to get any standalone model out of the 1H/2H cycle? Is 1H model size distribution average too ?

Wish my cargo plane would hurry up.Tracking shows, ordered on the 27th, dispatched on the 30th and sat some where in the UK, hoping delivery tomorrow

I'm sorry if i came across being rude but i just asked was there any news on 2h sets. It was not a bump as it was quiet an active tread to start with. I would consider a bump an old tread revived.

Also if u can't have a laugh its a bad world.

Let's keep it on topic anyway and i look forward to hearing more info on the upcoming sets.
