jantjeuh Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 New Micro Panels in black... Awesome.. Been waiting(and hoping) for these... Yeah, these should be very useful for MOC'ing. Main reason for buying that snow mobile Quote
Thirdwigg Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 It is great we have some interesting parts in a small set. The suspension on the Snowmobile will be very useful. Think about using those parts in a Helicopter swashplate. I am also excited we have sets that are not only red and yellow. The amount of blue parts is significant. Also the little helicopter turned out better than I thought it would. Quote
Meatman Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 (edited) FINALLY! I love the Flaming skull sticker and the blue color of the hot rod, but not so much the overall design. The three model set looks the best. Cargo plane looks awesome. The PB3 F1 huh? Edited October 29, 2013 by Meatman Quote
AVCampos Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 The PB3 F1 huh? I guess the name is because it's a pull-back car, and that, after this year's two such sets, it's the third. Quote
Seasider Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Loving most of these sets. The construction crew looks good. But the plane is just amazing so many white panels and beams. Definitely getting that set. Lookis like 2014 h1 could be expensive! Quote
paulblda Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 (edited) I am deeply dissapointed with the hot rod, which was the most expected by me. The plane looks like a great parts-pack, construction crew looks like fun. I will surely not buy the pullback cars. I am really looking forward to the 2014 H2 sets :-/ Oh and I forgot the chinook helicopter, which I love and will buy Edited October 29, 2013 by paulblda Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 The construction crew does not seams as good as the skip truck, but I still think I might get both of these. Quote

So which ones are the PB1 and PB2? Why isn't the offroad the PB4 offroad? I guess the 42010 Off Road Racer would be PB1 and the 42011 Race Car would be PB2? I thought this was called the midnight racer F1 or something like that? Edited October 29, 2013 by Meatman Quote
AVCampos Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 PB1 is the 42010 and PB2 the 42011 (or the other way around). Maybe it wasn't deemed stylish to call the Off-Roader "PB4". Quote
MrNumbskull13 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Where is everyone finding this video?! Can anyone link it please? Quote
allanp Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 The cargo plane is a good idea and I love all the white. Hopefully there will be some authentic wing and tail flap movements for pitch/yaw/roll and so on. The new suspension parts on the snow mobile are also very welcome . The rest does not appeal to me. Meatman Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Where is everyone finding this video?! Can anyone link it please? Just go to youtube and type in 2014 Lego technic and search for most recent added video. Quote

You have not seen the underneath of it or the skeleton, best get another box for color vomit. Can't find it. :( can you post the name if the video or the uploader? Do they not teach you this stuff at school..... Go on YouTube and search for "Lego technic 2014",sort by date and it should be the second video listed. Edited October 29, 2013 by Alasdair Ryan Quote
aol000xw Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 So the biggest is the plane with just 1308 parts which I like a lot and looks big by size. But nothing in the range of Unimog or Mobile crane by part count until at least 20142h? Quote

Someone said something about big sets beign released every now and then out of the standard cycle, that's why I ask if there is nothing big to be expected until at least 2014 2h. It's ironic, but I think it's you who deserve the double facepalm Quote

rener Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I'm wondering what's inside that mini chopper, with "442 pieces"... Quote
zux Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 I'm wondering what's inside that mini chopper, with "442 pieces"... Pins, pins everywhere... joking, not sure also Snowmobile's parts are interesting, however I'll probably stick to missing this year's models. Quote

It's ironic, but I think it's you who deserve the double facepalm IMO the Cargo Plane is quite a big set! With few exceptions 1300 parts is more than many flagships in the distant and recent past. There are not that many above that value. So the conclusion is that big sets average partcount has been increasing over time. Quote
