Anio Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Yep, we can see that part near the hinge on the B model. Quote
Meatman Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Awesome new pics!!! I am really not liking that Hot Rod at all. nothing seems to flow on it. The Cargo plane is fantastic. Quote
tibivi Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Are that 2 black 19l flex axles on the orange pull back car? Tibivi Quote
zux Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 What I've noticed is that each of new sets has a specific background theme, which isn't plain as before. Quote
Meatman Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 (edited) Are that 2 black 19l flex axles on the orange pull back car? Tibivi No, they are shorter. I think Technicbricks said they wee 16L. I am still on the hunt for 2 more 19L flex axles. Everytime one pops up on bricklink it is gone in seconds. I actually just realized that 16L flexible axles in black are the missing parts to properly do Paul's Gallardo in Black. Of course you also need a bunch of 19L ones too along with like four 14L ones which are also pretty rare. Edited November 22, 2013 by Meatman Quote
Boboboum Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 is there an information for the piece counts already? I'm wondering about this as well. Especially regarding the Cargo Plane... Quote
paul_delahaye Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 looking closer, the scale of the 3 models in the construction crew seems off, I mean the dump truck and the excavator could be considered almost in the same scale, but the loader looks bigger? Quote
Junpei Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Ooh, those panels! I think I'll need to get that cargo plane. But that hot rod sucks. What's even the point of that set? Quote
N-4K0 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 (edited) I'm not planning to buy the cargo plane, but that B-model really tempts me, it's very cool I'm considering the snowmobile, and the new pic on top of this page giving a better look of it, makes me more tempted. Ondra Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Im very interested in plane too many functions in elegant body looks amazing. This need reverse engineering. Quote
gmshades Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Do you think the plane is the same scale as the 2013 helicopter? The cockpits look about the same size. Quote
Technic Gearhead Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Are we getting 1x2 thick liftarms with axle hole in Orange on the front of the 42026, like the piece in the TechLug logo? Quote
N-4K0 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Looks like that. Nice with another addition in the orange part count. Quote
theultimatetoa001 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 It`s hard to pick a favourite set, but i would go with either 42020 or 402022. Quote
Energo Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Mmm, like all new sets. Hot Rod and Container Truck will be mine, I hope) Quote
SonofTheShire Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I don't think I've ever bought a Technic set, but I really like that little helicopter. It's the perfect companion for that red Creator helicopter! Quote
piterx Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 i just fell in love with the new tires :) i always wondered why they didn't do exactly that kind of tires FINALLY !!! i can now start planning small scaled models :D Quote
Junpei Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I'm thinking of a truck trial vehicle, I think I'll have to get some of these too... Quote
SNIPE Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 Those suspension arms and the bug with 3 ball joints and a center pinhole look cool. Quote
Johnny P Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 The new suspension parts wil be very handy for making the axles of all sorts of trucks suspended and steered realistic.i will problably end up with buying the scooter more then once. Quote
Junpei Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I agree, they will be great for building live axles. What is the difference between the new hubs and 8448 hubs? Or is it the same mould? Quote
Paul Boratko Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 I agree, they will be great for building live axles. What is the difference between the new hubs and 8448 hubs? Or is it the same mould? No, they're similar, but different... No, they are shorter. You know, I actually never thought about that... I do have an all black Gallardo that I used size 14 flex axles with a 2l connector on the end for the front part because the 16 size didn't exist... Until Now... Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 (edited) looking closer, the scale of the 3 models in the construction crew seems off, I mean the dump truck and the excavator could be considered almost in the same scale, but the loader looks bigger? Loaders usually are pretty huge in comparison to trucks and excavators, especially the big Caterpillar and Volvo models. A Road Grader for the Front Loader. This is visible in the lower left corner of the back side of the box. Not sure about the other two models. That's a scraper. Road Graders have the cabin at the back - scrapers have it at the front. Funny that this is the same B-model as the 2003 8453, though! Edited November 24, 2013 by Maaboo35 Quote
dandexter Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 (edited) That 1st half line up should be added in the dictionary under disappointment, in my opinion it looks like they scrapped the bottom of the barrel this year. Edited November 23, 2013 by dandexter Quote
