paul_delahaye Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Paul Delahaye-That dump truck, looks similar to this http://www.brickset....ail/?Set=8415-1 ?Thanks for reply. It looked a little better than that one, but yes, basically it's a 6 wheeled dump truck, more like this http://www.pioneerjax.com/images/trucks/MackCH613DumpTruck.jpg but made of technic bricks, hopefully the pictures will surface soon, it's been a week since I saw them, so a retailer is bound to leak them soon. Meatman Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 V6 in a hot rod? Sounds dumb, but I'll probably buy it if it has blue parts. The snowmobile and skip truck sound nice. The construction crew sounds interesting, and I'm curious to see what that looks like. Sounds like the B model of the 8440. Quote
Nike 2101 Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Hot rods very very interesting!!!! http://fotki.yandex.ru/users/nike2103/view/751377/ http://fotki.yandex.ru/users/nike2103/view/732253/ Quote
jantjeuh Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Anyone know when we might expect the first pictures to appear? Curious about the colour schemes. Quote
maxxens Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Someone wrote in this topic, that he could look into a reseller catalogue so maybe there will be confidential pictures soon. But you will not see them here on eurobricks because the publication of these pictures is not intended by lego and eurobricks respects this. Quote

Well that hasn't stopped them in the past, but then technic has a new moderator ie Blakbird, so whatever he decides we should respect that. But i'm still on the fence as to if the so called "leaks" are intentional or if TLG are really that concerned. Quote
Jim Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 They might not be concerned, but I think it's better to respect the confidentiality and not post them here. TLG scratches our backs sometimes, so we scratch theirs. The pictures can still be found on the net most of the times, so why take the risk. Quote
Saberwing40k Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Hi guys! I've just found some set names on the website of All About Bricks. These are the sets that we probably get in 1H2014: 42020 Twin-Rotor Helicopter 42021 Snowmobile 42022 Hot Rod 42023 Construction Crew 42024 Container Truck 42026 Black Champion Racer 42027 Desert Racer Well Well, all this is interesting, so let's go through my best case scenarios from both bottom up, and top down. TOP DOWN Assuming that the smallest set number is the smallest set, Excluding Pullback Racers. 42020: This set is very small, but what could that mean by twin rotors? It could mean that it has twin rotors like a Chinook Helicopter, twin overlapping rotors like the 9396 B model, or two counterrotating rotors. Since this is small, I'm going for the first option. It may also have a hook and winch for lifting loads. It's orange! 42021: Meh, it's a snowmobile. Let's hope it's lime green, or something. 42022: I'm thinking a V6 rat rod, with just HOG steering and suspension, and opening doors. I'm hoping for black or brown. 42023: Now we're getting somewhere. The 3 smallest sets hold no interest to me, but this one does. I hope it will include a pickup, one of those little bobcat skid steers, and 3 updated Technic Figures. This could be a fun set, not in terms of realism, but playability. I think the truck should be red, and the skid steer white.(Standard Bobcat livery.) 42024: It's a white sideloader container truck, rather than a roll on roll off truck like 8052. 42026: The color should be fairly obvious. It's essentially 8366 reborn, with a radio transmitter, reciever, and servo for steering. It's like an ACC car, in terms of size and function. I hope this is correct. 42027: Something like this: When I googled the term, I got lots and lots of motorbikes, so I thought that something like this would be cooler. It could be either orange, or teal. BOTTOM UP Assuming that the smallest sets are at the bottom of the list, with the highest numbers. 42027 & 42026: Meh, two little pull back racers, that can be combined. Like we care. 42024: A little bitty container truck. Similar to 42004, and a good parts pack in the same way. (C'mon, 3 x11 flat panels.) 42023: Same as previous description. 42022: Similar to 8070 minus the power functions. 42021: Wait, haven't we seen this before? Let's hope this one has an engine and chain drive. 42020: 1h flagship. I want something with both collective and cyclic control. Man, this sounded a lot better in my head. Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Some great ideas there, and I think a brown hot rod would be nice. Looks like the hot rod will be blue though. Per post 40, the truck will be a rear load and helicopter will have tandem rotors, similar to a Chinook. Paul_Delehaye has seen pictures and has give us some good info on the models back on page 2, post 40. Quote
Rishab N Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Im not sure if this is fake but this seems to be the top of the 42027 http://le-go.ru/lego_2014_goda_lego_new_2014/lego_tehnik_lego_technic_2014/lego-42027-Desert_Racer.html Quote
jantjeuh Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 (edited) Im not sure if this is fake but this seems to be the top of the 42027 http://le-go.ru/lego...sert_Racer.html 2990 rubles is about 70 euro, so a mid-range set then. Edit: if you look here they use that same 'top' for all the sets: http://le-go.ru/lego..._technic_2014/. Edited September 14, 2013 by jantjeuh Quote
bacem Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Im not sure if this is fake but this seems to be the top of the 42027 http://le-go.ru/lego...sert_Racer.html nope, it's the top of 8048 buggy. Quote
jantjeuh Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 (edited) At least we got the prices now (assuming they are correct), seems like 42024 will be a big set at 8990 rubles/208 euro! Finally a proper container truck. Only 42021 looks like a small set. Edited September 14, 2013 by jantjeuh Quote
Rishab N Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Yeah that's just the 8048 buggy i thought it looked familiar! Quote

Jim Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Dont believe these prices, they are astronomical. True! A 200+ euros set in H1 2014....don't think so Quote
zux Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 True! A 200+ euros set in H1 2014....don't think so Well, Crane Mk II costs 8490 roubles on that website, which is 196.619 Euro, similar to S@H. So the prices might be pretty accurate. Quote

Saberwing40k Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 A container truck, for $200!?! It better be something cool, like a sideloader truck, or one with two trailers. But hold on, it the 1H 2014 flagship is almost as much as a 2H flagship from previous years, does this mean that we've got something really big headed our way? That is, of course, figuring that this information is accurate, buuttt I don't think this should be taken too seriously. Quote
MrNumbskull13 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I'm gonna laugh so hard is this container truck turns out to be one of those 100piece sets :D Quote
rm8 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 (edited) Every time I see activity in this thread i think: "may be someone posted leaked photos...:)" But instead everytime I find "..bla bla bla...." :D Stop dreaming and make quick conclusions, just wait for first pics. Patience! Edited September 17, 2013 by rm8 Quote
Jim Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Hehe I know what you mean. Had the same feeling last year. Now I still need to buy the Crane Mark II and the Tow Truck, but I am still interested in pictures of course. Always an exciting moment. Sorry if you thought this post would include pictures Quote
Nequmodiva Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Sorry I have no leaked photos as well . But I tried to imagine what that blue helicopter might look like. So with knowing only what I read in this forum I came up with this: http://www.brickshel...lue-chinook.png. But I guess this might be even too big. What do you think? Quote
AVCampos Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 It would be very nice it TLG reused the 9396's tail rotor blades on this small model, to increase availability of the part and to take advantage of an already existing mould. Quote
