nicjasno Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 In most tractors/4 wheel excavators, the front axle can pivot, so the vehicle can manage the road unevenness. Suspension is mostly done with tires. Quote
Johnny P Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Most tractors these days have a pendular front axle and the pivot point is suspended. So when you drive on road it drives soft. Pendular axle alone doesnt count as suspension on road.it would stil bounce al over the road. Quote
davidmull Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 So basically the loader has the same set up as the real l350f. Quote
DreamsKnight Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 in this (spectacular) video, you can see clearly how works "sospensions" in the rear axle. Quote
Johnny P Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 If so , then he has got to have a pendular axle in the rear. Does anybody know the lego version has a pendular one? Quote
peter_m Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) in this (spectacular) video, you can see clearly how works "sospensions" in the rear axle. By the way - cool idea for a bucket replacement :) I decided not to complain about what will come -but to appreciate what I have now - I am in th white panel heaven :D Edited January 31, 2014 by peter_m Quote
jorgeopesi Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 And it has another link configuration too. Quote
EyesOnly Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) Man what an idiotic driver. He could have gotten someone killed driving with such a heavy load. I have never seen just how much suspension travel a loader has and that one clearly has more than i thought it did. Edited January 31, 2014 by EyesOnly Quote
davidmull Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 It's a swivel rear axle which I'm sure the Lego version will have. It's is not suspension as such ie springs, shocks etc. I like that log attachment. :) would not be easily make that with las though. That's where pneumatics would have come in better. It's very hard make any attachments like this as ur la,s are shaft driven. Quote

Maaboo the Witch Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 I'm not enamored with the loader, let alone the pickup. I'm eager to see the bulldozer, but I think that's the only set I even have an interest in. Wonder if it's PF-capable? Quote
Lakop Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Peter M, Where did you get those panels? H Quote
peter_m Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 Peter M, Where did you get those panels? H They are from 42025 :). There also 2 small blue panels (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=11947), but they were still in bag when I was taking this pic :) Quote
davidmull Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 You guys get way to excited over parts ha :) anyway back to the models Quote
N-4K0 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) I do agree that the driver in the video should have taken 2 rounds when he got that weight problem - literally Edited January 31, 2014 by Error404 Quote
Johnny P Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Its practically impossible to unload half of the logs. He can not push he's forks tru the logs.a better way is a crane to unload the logs. If i was the driver of the truck i would probably get furious when they abuse my trailer like that. Quote
ed-orange Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 new video of the Volvo 42030. And you can also see the new bulldozer at second 19 in the video :-) Quote
efferman Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 a very sweet dozer, and now we are see that the loader has a pendular axle at the rear Quote
_techniclego55_ Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) Yes, that bulldozer looks very promising.. 42030 and 42028 are definitely on my lego shopping list for 2014.. Not a big fan of the 42029 Pickup though.. it looks too ugly imho, but it's a good part pack.. Here is a messy screenshot from the Video below.. Edited February 1, 2014 by _techniclego55_ Quote
andythenorth Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) High track dozer, looks around D9 or D10 sized. Wonder if it's Cat licensed? (I doubt it, two heavy equipment brands in one year would be a conflict) Looks like a ripper on the back? Wonder if it will have blade tilt as well as lift (LA or mini-LA on each side of the blade frame)? Can't see any evidence of that in the picture, just wondering if they squeezed in more than 2 functions (blade and ripper)... Edited February 1, 2014 by andythenorth Quote
EyesOnly Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 More yellow panels. I'll hold further comments on the dozer until better pictures are here. Quote
rm8 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 (edited) Nice dozer. Motorized it will be a small brother of 8275. They say that 42030 can hold (or eve lift) 1 kg cargo. Intersting fact:) Edited February 1, 2014 by rm8 Quote
zux Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 Did you notice loader's steering didn't return to center when controller wasn't in hands. I wonder if this is a new feature or they just turned power off, while loader was turned left. Quote
