I highly doubt it will support Power Functions out of the box, however I am currently working on a fully remote PF version of it, using four M-motors :classic:

Then I'll get it for sure :D

I'm on the fence about the bulldozer, really. Might just pick it up.

yeah, its a nice model! wondering what the price tag will be... if we compare it to a kit with similar parts count i.e 8069 (approx 600 pieces) i expect it to be atleast 20-25% cheapier since it doesnt have any "special" parts - no actuators, no bucket (the blade is just made of beams)

or what do you guys expect it will cost?

The "£49.99 / US$79.99 / €59.99" price tag is for 42006. I used it for comparison with a similarily sized construction set. Dozer might cost a little less but it shouldn't be a huge difference.

Let's speculate about the B-models for the coming dozer and redneck truck!

Someone mentioned a potential snowmobile as a secondary model for the dozer, but I doubt it as there's already a snowmobile released this year. With the yellow parts, anything other than a construction vehicle would be a surprise. Maybe a small tractor with a snow plough. Then again, the B-model for 42006 was a small tractor. I would love an army vehicle, but I doubt it very much. There are limited possibilites when it comes to tracked (construction) vehicles, but maybe TLC will surprise us with some new innovative way of using the tracks instead :)

I want 42029 for the suspension parts alone, but the A-model is just too ugly to justify a purchase. I'm hoping for some kind of 4x4 offroad jeep here. A buggy could work too, but it would leave a lot of red pieces unused, so I doubt it.

Well, maybe a the B-model could be a manual tracked skid steer loader. They haven't done one since the 8043 B-model.

I would also love a 4x4 jeep or buggy from 42029, and I want to buy it for the panels and suspension parts, but it is SO UGLY!!

B-model dozer could be another Morooka http://www.morooka.co.jp/en/

Morooka was B-model for red + white excavator, and TLG aren't scared to repeat a model. Guess is based on the tracks (obviously) and the panels from the dozer blade forming the dump bed. Otherwise B model could be yet another excavator, but there's no turntable present so I doubt it. Sideboom dozer unlikely - no string included. Miltary vehicles have never featured in Technic, so not a tank. Could be a pistenbully or a nodwell.

I'd like to see another tracked dumper too. 8294-B was a unique model and I wouldn't have any problem with seeing another one - especially considering I don't have 8294.

I just was on the American Lego site, and they are now showing the new 2014 Technic products. They are giving a release date of August 2014.

They've been showing the models on the US site for several months with a date of August. Still no word on WHY the rest of the world gets them but we don't, but the speculation is that it has something to do with the LEGO Movie. Doesn't seem like the LEGO Movie fans are the exact demographic for Technic sets, so I don't see the conflict. Maybe it is just shelf space.
