So what do the rest of my fellow Avalonian's have in the works at the moment? I'm working on my Mount Up entry, which is close to done, and Task 5. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to fit my Mount up entry on a 16x16 base. Let's just say there's going to be quite a bit overhang... And my Task 5 build is I think something like 56x50 studs, give or take a bit. I'm thinking I might have to expand it though, as it's getting a bit crowded. I'm also thinking I'm going to have to make a bricklink order to finish it...

I'm working on Task V, my biggest ever at 64x64 studs, with a 32x32 build on the back burners, and a small 16x16 build ready to be photographed.

I'm busy with my task V. The buildng is happening in fits and starts between bricklink orders. It is rather big but is about three-quarters finished. I was going to do a WIP thread but I think I'll just wait till it's done. It may take a month or so yet, finding time to build is also proving challenging....

So it was a rainy weekend here in the Netherlands... and fortunately, I was given the time to finish at least my base and sculptured the trees and a single homestead (not satisfied about the house though).

This looks absolutely brilliant - I really like how you obviously have it all planned out early in the process. (The fields, for instance) - I could really learn something here - plus, your landscaping is great!

Sounds like you all are pretty busy with mocs or life at the moment! Can't wait till the builds start coming in! DG, I hope you're kids get well soon!

I'm now on vacation, so I'll be away from my bricks for a while. I tend to get more inspired after being away though, so hopefully I'll come back recharged and ready to build!

Here is one of the things I am working on - For task 5, I tried to put down my ideas for the old keep of the Trifork.

It has to connect the old town south of the river with the new town north of the river with the main road running through, and the drawbridge has to be wide enough to allow quite big ships to pass on the busy shipping route the river is.

I think I will maintain the idea of angling some of the build differently than the rest, but the main part around the keep will be somewhat different, as I don't want a walled caste as such inside the city*, as there are already city walls, but rather a one-building keep. However, I think it will end up the largest build I ever did. Will take some time, though. C&C welcome.

*Pending recognition (and several builds... :P ) by the Royal Cartographers Guild of Albion.

I have returned to find the Eagles cave, with which to rebuild my familys fortunes. I am an experianced miner and have brought dwarves with me to obtain the ore from the cave. I have spent years fighting as a bodyguard and mercenary. This time i have honed my sword skilss and assembled a group to find the cave and the wealth it contains.
