nato8181 Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Yes, I can say that this model has given me a strong inspiration: the chassis is very similar, but because of the functions has been completely revolutionized. But, where is it? His videos are now unavailable: ( This makes me happy, thank you very much! Meanwhile I am working on a new alternative model...of the set 8110 :) Inspiration? hahahahahaha .... My friend here in Brazil we call it "Cara de Pau" and suggest the use of oil for Peroba Maintenance sinismo lol ... Look me up on Youtube, "nato8181" ... what is not "inspiration "I call" alien ", not Moc;) Quote

MrTekneex Posted January 28, 2014 Author Posted January 28, 2014 Guys, someone is seriously interested about building instructions of this MOC? Quote
Theo van Vroenhoven Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 I would like to build this too! Quote
Kumbbl Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 would even seriously going into the idea to buy a second 8258 to build this beauty and display it besides his original brother ;-) Quote
MrTekneex Posted January 28, 2014 Author Posted January 28, 2014 Thank you! If I decide to create the building instructions I will do changes to the chassis and to the mechanics. It will be like the 8110 alternate: ready for IR RC power functions, without adding additional pieces. :) Quote
MrTekneex Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 (edited) Here we go! I have finished to recreate the MOC, helped by pics. I have strongly changed the chassis and the mechanics. Now this MOC uses almost all the pieces of the set 8258, without adding a pièce, and It's ready for IR RC power functions! Next monday I'll begin the building instructions! Hello to everybody, also from the Technic minifig :) Edited February 8, 2014 by djshiver Quote

Lost_In_Noise Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Wonderful work! My B-model only stayed in one piece for a few hours, this might merit a second set! The only thing that's missing is the tow fork, and the 8285 is bye-bye... Quote
MrTekneex Posted February 11, 2014 Author Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Wonderful work! My B-model only stayed in one piece for a few hours, this might merit a second set! The only thing that's missing is the tow fork, and the 8285 is bye-bye... Surprise...I have updated the MOC: there will be the tow fork! As a manual function (by a lever)...but there will be! I have added also the driving mirrors. These are the spare parts. (141 pieces) Edited February 11, 2014 by djshiver Quote

Teo LEGO Technic Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 (edited) I like it so much that I would have believed you if you said it was made by LEGO! Amazing! Edited February 15, 2014 by Teo LEGO Technic Quote
MrTekneex Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 (edited) And now it's the turn of Lpub :) (If you look closely you can see now the towfork) Edited February 19, 2014 by djshiver Quote
Technic Gearhead Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 It looks really good - very official looking and tidy. I may have to build one but would probably 'cheat' on the colors of a few parts because it deserves them, but I totally respect what you have done! Quote
