Hi,

This is first time I post my WIP project. Hope it helps me to finish it :classic:

This is my new project. Scale is 1:10,5. Supercar with minumum functions (only main) but detailed (I hope it will).

Toyota Trueno / Levin AE 86 with widebody and safe cage. Cup or drift version.

Wheels are 56's

(steering wheel is temporary fitted at stickshift  )

It is Japan car with steering at right side. Steering whel is working and no place for HOG so far.

Front suspension is independent, rear is live axle.

Engine is straight 4-cylinder. It will be with individual throttles and velocity stacks or with turbo. It was a challenge for me to fit engine block as low, as it possible between front wheels.

Engine is connected with rear wheels thru 4-speed gearbox without rear gear. This will be race-prepared model without passenger seats with cage and it dont need rear gear.

It take time to finish it, hope I can make it this year.

it feels like it will be a really good work man! :)

i'd like to see the rear live axle better expecially the attachment to the chassis, seems different than usual ones

What do you mean by "good detilastion"? Also, what is that part that looks like a disk brake in this photo:

i mean "detailed". Parts is "Technic disk with sticker pattern"

Please post instructions for this once done, looks mad! I love the live axle at the back. Though those tyres look too wide for an older race car, could be wrong.

It is "race-prepare" retro car

Retro meaning 80s or older? Not to sure what it will mimic exactly. I kinda like it as it is, looks done. Perfect example of a ladder chassis in model form.

Inline 4 retro japanese? hmmmm. celica or datsun 510? rx-3 with inline conversion? unless of course the inline 4 is just for looks and this turns out to be 2000gt or 240z :)

That looks great, I've been experimenting with a similar front end setup recently but haven't had much success with it. Yours looks nice and sturdy with good steering angles too.

Looking forward to seeing the body on top, it looks almost 240Z shaped already
