Beautiful piece, that must have cost a fortune ... especially the 5x11 orange panels. Though, putting such delicate lego parts on Hard/Rough Concrete is a crime! I never take my parts out, and my worktable is covered with a cloth ...I am very 'protective' of my bricks.

I am still trying to access the website. Is this posted elsewhere?

I had the same problems, AT&T told me they 'blocked' his site from my use because they said of "security and spam problems with his ISP" I have since changed my ISP to a company that doesn't block his site.

All is well now, I can reach Hans' site anytime!

Check his website at the bottom of the Stone Trailer page to see an alternate to his color choice, in case you folks have plenty of these colors to use in his MOC.

A happy new year to all of you !

Finally the whole Stone Trailer finished within MLcad so that I can play with other color combinations. For those intending to buy many 5x11 panels in BLUE... :classic: See 2 examples of other colors.stonetrtr_c1.jpgstonetrtr_c2.jpg

Here are some recently completed renders of the color possibilities. Let's see if anyone is clever enough to spot what I did wrong in two of the images but corrected in the third.

Was about to say the date until I spotted it was wrong in the last image too

Myself I like the Blue and White version best. Orange and Green doesn't do it for me, and Technic seems to be known for an overdose in yellow.

No, it's not the date or what Twenty Legged Hen put in the box. Those are the same on all three images. The error has nothing to do with color. It will be easier to spot if you go to the full size versions of the pictures on Brickshelf. It has to do with the position of certain parts.

Yes, you've got it now. The wheels are turned on the trailer in all three images. However, in the blue and yellow images I did it wrong. I thought the steering worked like the truck so I pivoted the wheels on their mounting axle which made them move closer to the fender. In reality, the whole rear axle assembly pivots on a turntable at the center and the fenders move with it. This is fixed on the orange image.

I agree that the blue and white colour scheme looks best, especially on the trailer. I would change the colours on the cab a little, looks a bit messy. I can see those blue panels being high in demand ...

Also, the panels either side of the grill on the first 2 images are contrasting, but in the final image they're the same colour.

Yeah, what's the deal with that?

Kronos see my post #28, I also used to get to Hans' site using AT & T , but sometime over the summer they 'blocked' his site. I have since changed to Verizon and have no problems now.

Where have you been nychase ........ ..... the blue panels are comming in this year's 42024 Container Truck ......

3 weeks later and I just notice this for myself!

Honestly, I don't look too much at the new technic models as I spend most of my time building other MOC's. When I saw the rendering of the blue, I checked to make sure that I wasn't crazy and that they never made blue panels and it turns out bricklink hadn't updated their database yet.

I'm starting to lose my edge!

Instructions for the stone trailer are almost done, expect to see them on Han's site next weekend!

I couldn't stand it, I hope Designer Han doesn't mind, here's my truck in alternate colors. I had too much DBG and Yellow and decided to use them on his MOC, what do you guys think?

Btw this build was fantastic as all of Hans' creations, you won't be disappointed when you purchase BI. This turned out being the largest part count I've built.
