Waterbrick Down Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 In Kadabra's defense that's not a standard rule in mafia games, I would've assumed it was fine unless it was specified in the rules. Quoting others is usually fine, we're generally never allowed to quote the Host's PM's publicly though I thought.
Sandy Posted September 14, 2013 Author Posted September 14, 2013 In Kadabra's defense that's not a standard rule in mafia games, I would've assumed it was fine unless it was specified in the rules. So everyone could just post their character PMs at the start of the game, and those who refuse are deemed scum? That's not how I've played mafia before...
CMP Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Quoting others is usually fine, we're generally never allowed to quote the Host's PM's publicly though I thought. So everyone could just post their character PMs at the start of the game, and those who refuse are deemed scum? That's not how I've played mafia before... Oh, I thought you were referring to the quoting of the PM chain between three players. Nevermind.
Sandy Posted September 14, 2013 Author Posted September 14, 2013 Oh, I thought you were referring to the quoting of the PM chain between three players. Nevermind. There were some quotes from my PMs in the midst of it. That's a total faux pas.
Kadabra Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Of course I had to forget an important thing from the rules. I guess I just took it for granted that nobody would do it... You must not publicly quote my private messages! It's considered cheating and doing it makes this whole game pointless. Kadabra, I'm looking at you. You're lucky there was nothing in the quotes that could confirm anyone's alignment one way or another. I can't control what you PM to each other, but I'd expect at least some moral standards when it comes to playing fair. Seriously, I did not spend all this time on this game just so it could be ruined by cheaters... I'm pretty sure I just quoted stuff between me, Pie, and Doc? Let me check if I got something from you in there somewhere. Sorry! There were some quotes from my PMs in the midst of it. That's a total faux pas. Oh, you're right! We were taking about me being encouraged or not and I quoted something from you. That was totally my bad, I am so sorry!
Sandy Posted September 14, 2013 Author Posted September 14, 2013 That was totally my bad, I am so sorry! Apology accepted. Good to know it wasn't intentional.
Sandy Posted September 15, 2013 Author Posted September 15, 2013 The results for Day Five have been posted by PM, but unfortunately I cannot post the conclusion of the day until tomorrow. So please hold your night actions for another 15 hours or so!
Sandy Posted September 16, 2013 Author Posted September 16, 2013 Sorry for the prolonged wait, Night Five has officially begun now. Thank you for playing, Brickdoctor! You played great despite the circumstances!
Flare Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Thanks for letting me play, Sandy! I have to admit, you played pretty phonemonanly (did I spell that right? )
Pyrovisionary Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 (edited) I guess they don't call him Piro the Visionary for nothing. I'm sorry but I don't get it. Edited September 16, 2013 by Pyrovisionary
Brickdoctor Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I have to admit, you played pretty phonemonanly (did I spell that right? ) I...played...like a man on a phone? I suppose that would be accurate for some of the latter portion of my playing time when I was on vacation.
Scorpiox Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I...played...like a man on a phone? I suppose that would be accurate for some of the latter portion of my playing time when I was on vacation. I think that Scuba is referring to the fact that Flare did not spell the word phenomenally correctly.
Brickdoctor Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I think that Scuba is referring to the fact that Flare did not spell the word phenomenally correctly. I was replying to Flare. Assumed it was clear enough without the quote.
Flipz Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I'm sorry but I don't get it. Piro was trying to use his Venom to poison his staff the way modern Heroes do it, instead of just Venom-ing someone directly the way the old Heroes do. :P I think that Scuba is referring to the fact that Flare did not spell the word phenomenally correctly. So, he didn't spell phenomenally phenomenally?
Endgame Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 So, he didn't spell phenomenally phenomenally? What an odd phenomena. Go town! I get the feeling this is reaching a climax.
Pandora Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 What an odd phenomena. [pedant]The singular is phenomenon[/pedant]
CMP Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Why are we all talking about pheromonanomalies?
Duvors Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 So, he didn't spell phenomenally phenomenally? This is why Aurthur sided with chaos.
Flare Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 LOL people. I'll never be able to spell that word...
Kadabra Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 LOL people. I'll never be able to spell that word... While phonemonanly is not the most phenomenal spelling of phenomenally, failure to phenomenally spell phenomenally is not an anomalous phenomenon.
swils Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I have a phenomenal headache after reading that.
Chromeknight Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 While phonemonanly is not the most phenomenal spelling of phenomenally, failure to phenomenally spell phenomenally is not an anomalous phenomenon. He did have a good go at spelling it phonemically though.
Flare Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 (edited) I have a phenomenal headache after reading that. I don't think its going to be such an uncommon phenomena Edited September 17, 2013 by Flare
