Fingers crossed for something cool... Beast Warrior or Dragoon would be nice, those are cool classes Arasmyth will never choose to be.

Sign me up, I like the rules, though I'm a bit confused by the removal of four elements, whats up with that?

I don't have a single clue what is going on here, but I could use a good bloodbath, plus the honour of representing the great and noble House of Shadeaux. I'm in.

I'm assuming there isn't actually a power gap betwen Basic-Advanced-Expert-Master classes in Cruel Angel's Thesis, just a thematic one?

Actually, there is. Basic classes are between levels 5-14, Advanced between 15-29 and Experts between 30-42. That means some characters have a whole lot more health than others, but everyone's attack power is between 2 and 6 initially, so with proper strategizing even the weaker characters can make it far.

And there's the fact that the higher classes have much more varied abilities than the basic ones, so they are more of a threat in general.

Again, you'll see how it all works once the game starts. You may start with lower or higher odds, but it's the way you play that matters in the end.

It was a matter of streamlining things. Since elements were created to be strong or weak against certain monster types, they have a slightly different function in this event game (as there are no monsters). I could have just omitted elements altogether, but I wanted to keep them to add more strategy for the Mage-classes. It just wasn't necessary to include all nine elements, so I chose five.

You can also see from the rules that many of the effects were dropped as well.

I honesty have no idea how Mafia games work, but count me in anyway.

Let me make it very clear: this is not a traditional Mafia game. You will not learn how to play Mafia games when you participate into this game. Likewise, it does not follow the rules and mechanics of Heroica RPG either, so participating into this game will not teach you how to play HRPG.

This game only borrows elements from both games, and mixes them into a unique event.

Which makes this even more awesome!
