Pate-keetongu Posted August 8, 2014 Author Posted August 8, 2014 Thanks mate! Here's another one, Eastern European flavors this time: Aaaaand the bios here: http://cyclopicbricks.blogspot.fi/2014/08/steampunk-minifig-barf-flavours-from.html Quote
Yzalirk Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Even more awesome Steampunk minifigs!? You are awesome! I really do like the guy with that red armor and the mustache above. Quote
Colossus Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 (edited) Ya know, I recognize each piece you've used for your minifigs, but the way you've combined them is pure genius. You have proven that a Minifigure is more than the sum of its parts. Thank you for sharing! I wish there was an entire thread devoted to steampunk MOC's and BARFs and whatnot. I agree that Steampunk should have it's own little dedicated section since just about any theme can be turned Steampunk. Post-Apocalyptic would be nice too. Quote
Gary The Procrastinator Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Thank you for the purist figs. You have some brilliant ideas here! I tried to pick out a favorite but kept finding more I liked...great work! Quote
BuilderMax Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 So nice! You show that there is so much possibility with that you could do with pieces without customizing parts. Quote
pagan Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 They are amazing. Sorry, but I am gonna use some ideas!! :) Cheers pagan Quote
___ Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I've noticed this forum suffers from a sort of lack of purist minifigs... So here's some on my steampunk style. They differ from nearly-ordinary Victorian era people to cyclopic oddness. Enjoy! There is also a small backstory for each fig on my blog. Very nice Fabuland avatar you have there...wall-RUS Quote
EvilBlackSheep Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Wow those steampunks minifigs are amazing! I wish i had the spare parts to make some of them. I should go brickhunting i guess. Quote
Colossus Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 I know, yeah? My kids are becoming perturbed that I keep dismembering their minifigs, but just to mix n match n see what works. A little trip to the Lego store to build their own minifigs out of the cache at the store helped the kids and I get some cool parts. Quote
Blue Wren Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 These are excellent! Steampunk is something I would like to try sometime and your purist minifigures show great character. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 This is really great (I have commented here before, but based on the excellent updates I need to come back). It is amazing how you combine the different elements to so many new minifigs that really work out well. Quote
Pate-keetongu Posted December 6, 2014 Author Posted December 6, 2014 Rise, you old geezer of a topic! So, here's a couple of more "SPFBs": The bios are behind the very same link: Steampunk yeah! Enjoy, my fellow Eurobrickers! Quote
Venkefedo Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 That is an amazing screw-on head. Great assortment! The angry Infearno-armored guy may be my fave, but the guy with the Hun hat is right up there, too... And that feather duster! Neat! Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Turned out great again! However, I am not sure about the "screw-on-head"... I'll probably prefer the guys with the moustaches and the pilot in dark red. If you are producing more of these fine minifigs, bring them on! Quote
