ttoks Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 This is where i do most of my building, luckily I don't have many parts (yet) so It will do for now. Quote
allanp Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 (edited) Well if you don't have many parts yet but plan to get more, I highly recommend you start starting your parts early. I had around 100,000 parts in a couple huge boxes before I started sorting and it was a nightmare! Edited December 20, 2015 by allanp Quote

Krall Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) And here is mine... It's not huge, but is enough big for buildin small models. there is also my bed opposite desk Here is shelf with my lego sets: Note: There are only system sets, because all technic models are sorted in OKT boxes. Under the shelf my little minion is sleeping ;) Edited January 3, 2016 by Krall Quote
tripletschiee Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I just sat for a couple of evenings in front of my Lego boxes and sorted and organized all of my studless stuff. I just sorted them by elements/parts not by colour, and the "old style" Lego stays still in a box in whcih I will have to rummage around for finding a specific part (like in the good old days of childhood). .. For the German guys, I bought the boxes at Obi. They might not be cheap, but they have a very good quality, separate little boxes to take out, they are stackable and - how funny - they are "Made in Denmark". Here are the item-numbers and prices: LUX Sortierkasten flexibel 41 cm hoch (8cm high) - 6641021 - 26,99€ LUX Sortierkasten flexibel 41 cm (5,5cm high) - 6641005 - 19,99€ As I don't have a specific room to work in, at least I have now the possibility to start building and to clean up rather fast. oracid Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) Here is my working place where I spend most of my time. As some here knows, and as you can see, I am currently interested about tank climber. It's here : http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=119844 Very cozy, isn't It ? JimDude Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I just started a couple of months ago. Right now I work on a black collapsible table in the living room (and get yelled at routinely to move). It's a 3*3*3*3 table, obviously square. I have one project box with compartments right now. Though, with this 800+ piece aircraft carrier I'm working on I had to break out a couple of Tupperware containers too. I'm getting another box next month. My hope is one day to have a room dedicated to Lego. We'll see. That probably resulted in even more yelling (I build on the dining-room table. OK, 'building' not being the operative word. By the time I get everything unpacked, I have to put it all away again because by then it's time to go to bed. And this is for building OOB, even. MOC'ing is reserved for dreams and unrealistic retirement plans. Unrealistic as in ' no pensioner actually has any spare time, especially when (grand)kids are involved') Quote
Kiwi_Builder Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 I've been building in the garage for the last few months now, and it seems to be working pretty well These two were back at the start of the current project, everything was so tidy and organized  It now looks like this, I'm about half way through the project and you can see how big it is: And just a little shot of the project so far I really need to have a tidy up  Quote
Lox Lego Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 how many millions of dollars are in these photos? Lego must be rich Quote

Mestari Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 (edited) I want to have a place in my living room for LEGO, but it needs to be disguised when not building, so no easy access drawers visible all the time. It will probably be custom built and will need to incorporate the desk with PC and 24" rotating screen. Do you have any suggestions? I was thinking of a wardrobe with deep drawers (is it still proper name if I don't store clothes in?) next to a desk, and a desk which would have deep drawers under and some shallow space above the desk with screen in the middle. Maybe some shelf on top of the screen and that shallow space for parts. Edited February 23, 2016 by Mestari Quote

Jim Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 Your folder is not yet public. I suggest to use Bricksafe or Flickr, but that's a personal opinion. Quote

Jim Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I do not want to subscribe to yet another site. It's time EB can host pictures for itself. Actually it's better not to host the pictures on EB. Hosting on EB will greatly reduce performance. And we would need a ton of harddisk space. So, in many ways it's better to have an external hosting service. Quote

Kiwi_Builder Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 That looks familiar... Nice place to spend your time and build... Wonder why... As you can see it's a bit messier than at the start of the project when you last saw it Man your back must hurt It can be less than comfortable at times, but the beanbag helps a lot This is my workplace/room http://www.brickshel...y.cgi?i=6372509 http://www.brickshel...y.cgi?i=6372510 That's a really nice space you have there mate The Actros is coming along well too, can't wait to see that finished Quote
Dafgek81 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 That's a really nice space you have there mate The Actros is coming along well too, can't wait to see that finished Well, you can see the finished model on Brickshelf, look for Actros 4150K It is a copy from the green one from Sandman. Instructions and partslist can be found on brickforge.de. Only difference is that mine is blue with a white crane. Quote
deathman20 Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Since I just re-started to looking into doing this... my work space consists of basement floor (desk/table if clean down there) and my assortment of blocks... well Stuff from my childhood is in 1x 20 Gallon Bin + 1x 8 Gallon Bin + 1x Cardboard box (like what you'd get a huge stack of computer paper in) New stuff most of its built original sets, so stored in a 1 Gallon plastic container for small parts right now. I need bins, and sorting system like you guys. Guess time to look at and invest :) Quote
Jim Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 We have been revamping the 2nd floor for several weeks. The end is near, which means all the stored stuff doesn't occupy my LEGO room anymore. To celebrate I went to good 'ol Ikea and got me an extra desk. So I went from: To: Gots to love Ikea Having more deskspace makes the entire room feel much more spacious. And finally the desk space to do some proper building (two WIPs visible on my desk). Now I need to get me some of those handy storage-drawer-unit-thingies. Quote
