It is quite easy to find out the best places on Bricklink for volume amounts of elf ear headpieces. Find the part you want, look at the listings, narrow the search to your country or continent, then change the sort by to Highest Qty. Comparison shop, and look for volume deals. You will have to be prepared to spend some money to get them, as most price between $2 and $4 apiece.

I was being rhetorical -- BL is the best bulk solution, but the price is ridiculous in my opinion. It is fine if you are buying a few, but if you really want to put together an army, its too much.

If you are just looking for pointy ears, the CMF11 elf hat is about $1. I find I have a plentiful abundance of elves after a few LoTR sets and some CMF series 3 duplicates. I have rarely used the pointy ears though, I prefer Exo force heads for elves.

Seems like reviewing UoP credits has slowed down recently?

I'm still looking for credits on some old builds, and some new ones as well.

I'm behind on them. I'll take a look at these on Tuesday.

A few DoH credit claims haven't been added to the actual thread.

As to the elf ear thing, I was just trying to give tips on finding good volume parts value on Bricklink. Yes, the ear parts themselves are quite expensive. Hoods, more ornate headdresses, and ear covering hairpieces coupled with elven-like heads are probably the more economic way to go.

Kaliphlinites, lend me your ears!

The winter in Mitgardia has been terrible! It has been so cold that they have hallucinated Kaliphlin privateers in their ports! I fear that not enough of our heating oil has made it to our northern brothers and sisters. We must lower prices (slightly) and get the flow going. A long term solution could be a pipeline that runs to Mitgardia, but for this winter we have to do our best the old fashioned way. We must increase delivery. There have been reports that some Mitgardians are shivering so much that they have broken their own armor! Indeed, Mitgardian children are finding little shelter within the beards of their mothers on these abnormally cold nights. We must think of the children!

The Challenge: By February 28th (anywhere in the world) post a MOC of Kaliphlinites providing Mitgardians with heating oil. It can be my sea, by sled, by giant eagle, just get them some oil! The MOC can be of any size, and does not have to include your sig fig. The only requirement is that it depicts a Kaliphlinite delivering oil to a poor, cold Mitgardian. The winner of this mini-challenge will earn the title "Heating Oil Czar of Kaliphlin." We will let all Kaliphlinites vote for the winner. Everyone who participates in this humanitarian effort will be considered part of the Order of the External Flame, Kaliphlin's humanitarian agency in Mitgardia .

Brothers and sisters, with our good fortunes, we can not sit by while other Historicans suffer, get those barrels moving!

The PGTC will buy up all the heating oil you wish to sell at lower prices on cash, futures or options markets. We're long, Mitgardia is short, and they're inventing skirmishes - in midwinter.

So many Kaliphlin mini-challenges right now! I have started a less cordial Kaliphlin-Mitgardian themed MOC but I suppose however we should help our poor Mitgardian fellows instead of taunting them? So I'll shift what little brick time I have now to this instead of the other one, before I get started with the Sultan's Gate build in March (I have some time home alone when the rest of the family goes north to visit the grandparents during the first week of March). The other MOC was to good of an idea not to build however (and I still want to get back at Kabel for confiscating a Kaliphlin ship ), so that will be finalized when Sultan's Gate is completed.

So it's that oil question again. Guess what, the little oil we import from Kaliphlin is something we might as well get from hunting the one or the other whale in our waters!

That's pretty hard when the owner of the Mitgardian whaling fleet lost his boats on the tables of Lost Vega!

 Great challenge! I had another build in mind as a come back but I might skip it in favor of this one - or do both!

If it is boat related, you may not want to give up on them so soon... we may need any vessels we can get.

Forgetting something?

We don't need Kaliphlinian exports: those stoves don't work on oil, you know

Unfortunately Mich didn't get elected so the majority of poor Mitgardians seem to still have no way to keep warm.

But why on earth would we then try to burn stinky oil imported from Kaliphlin and sold to us for an unreasonbably hight price, if we could just go outside our backyard and cut the one or other log that makes a nice and warm fire in the Mitgardian hearth?

All we need from you is the occasional barrel of wine and the one or other spice to enrich the flavor of our oustanding cusine!

Stinky oil? From our Mitgardian sales, I was under the impression you guys had mistaken our oil for the best smelling perfume...

All those oil sales are actually your own Kaliphlins buying it for use at their Embassy. Their just too embarrassed to buy it directly from you so their are going through us kind, understanding Mitgardian salesmen.

Ahh I see they must understand Mitgardian salesmen confuse taking a loss as making a profit so buy our oil back at a mere fraction of what the Mitgardians paid for it. Looks like we need to send some Mitgardians to our schools and reprimand our Kaliphlin embassies for taking advantage of these poor Mitgardians.

Actually, they have... its the fragrence of the year there -- Black Gold. It is infinitely more appealing than Mitgardian musk AKA: un-bathed Mitgardian under-beard smell.

Aha, I knew it!

Ah, but if we bathed how would we keep the crumbs-stored-for-later-in-our-beards from getting soggy? We are just way more prepared than any other guild and you all are jealous, admit it.

I always wondered why you Mitgardians jingled when you walked. Now I think I know. You keep all your pots, pans, and kitchen utensils as well as anything else you think you may need stored under your coats. Am I jealous? Nope.
