Winter? *huh* Ahhh, Melbourne, that explains it.

Get well soon!

Thanks for the well wishes! I am improving day by day, but as i have already had a bout of the flu this year, i am well and truly over being sick. :hmpf_bad:

Hahaha can I join the hospital? :p I played soccer on bare feet and now I can't stand on one foot :p

Anyway the good news is I have some time tomorrow for my university WIP. I also want to do something for SG :) when was the deadline again?

Arrggghh!! Busted up my shoulder can't put any force into my arm. Where's an electric brick seperator when you need one!

Oh dear, not you guys as well! Hope your injuries are not too long term, hey. (Looking forward to seeing your university moc, Damaximus!)

Hope you get well soon too, DM & TUB32!

I had such a great idea for the SG water supply, with an aqueduct, a reservoir behind the wall, a fountain for the townspeople etc... But now my gate and town houses will be my only contributions before the deadline. Might hopefully end up building the water supply as a freebuild or for some challenge some other time

That is a great idea for a build Gideon... shame you can't get it in before the SG deadline. Time is rapidly running out for me too. I have this plan of building a lift up to the top of the scarp, (for transporting heavy goods etc) as well as a section of wall and a merchant's gate with a traveller's shrine. I can see it all in my head, but in my current brainfoggy state i can't get my head around how to actually achieve what i want. I've made a couple of false starts already and it's all rather frustrating! :sceptic:

'Atlas as-of-yet-no-given-name' Atlas thought, 'That simply will not do'. As was tradition in the village on the smallest of the Spice Islands where he was born he had received only a first name at birth. His people held the believe that a surname should be a given name, in reference to a talent or a great deed. Now, Atlas had plenty of talents, yet non that any honourable men would want to be named after. It was time to venture in to the world and earn his given name. When he announced his departure to the elders his brother Crius Reefspear offered his company as witness to any great deeds which would be worthy of name giving. And so they went.

Hi guys! This is the start of my personal adventure as well! Having never build (much) historical moc's and having no previous experience roleplaying and the writing that goes along I hope to learn lots from all the fantastic builders in GoH. Looking forward to sharing Atlas' adventures with you!

I'll join Kaliplin. (How do I post pics on here?)

Lord Zach has been known for being a superior general and skilled swordsman. He prefers speed over armor and lightning fast attacks and counter attacks opposed to heavy soldiers marchingy slowly into battle. He was trained by the legendary ninja known only as sensei, who taught him that speed over strength wins many fights even with only stick. Sensei and his best apprentices now serve as Lord Zach's elite guard. Lord Zach also has employed mercenaries known only as Captain to his closest friends.

If you upload the pictures on to another site (such as Flickr), you can then post them on here. If you're using Flickr, you might want to check out this tutorial.

Welcome Atlas and Lord Zach, it's great to have you in Kaliphlin!

Anyone else think the wookie gunship will be a sweet tan parts pack? I like those big slopes and the stickers!

:classic:

Yeah. It will be awesome, although I also like star wars so I'll be buying 3 for the Wookiees (best Star Wars species :)) but two of the gunships will be for parts.... Lefo sucks up so much of my money....

I'm thinking about joining and I have a question - is anything Ancient Greek-based allowed here? Like something like Spartans? I was thinking about doing a faction based off of Spartans, could I do this?

That is perfectly acceptable, and I believe (but I am GL, so I may be biased) that Kaliphlin would be the best build for such a type of society.

::Spoiler alert::, we will be seeing some ancient Greek like baddies in a few months.

Alright, cool! I'll try to get some pictures and make a bio for my character sometime soon but the camera I have as of now might not be the best and I need to purchase some stuff soon. My profile icon is basically a general idea of what I'm thinking about doing, basically.

And don't worry, I'll try not to consider myself a "baddie". :angel_sing:

Does this mean Kaliphlin is next?

My Petraea University build is nearly done. All I have to do is decide on the shields on the walls and place the figs. A change to the perspective makes the principle scene an exterior one. The floor design is now going to be a specially seeded and manicured lawn. There will be an upper catwalk, and an interior hallway.

Welcome to Kaliphlin Lord Zach and Behemoth!

Thanks! Like I said, as soon as I order some more stuff, I'll post my character's biography along with a picture, so hopefully soon or by the end of this summer.

We are actually 4th, Mitgardia is next.

No!!

To me it means Kali is more stable. Yay for civilized life!

Also, I'll be leaving for a week and a half and when I get back school will be starting back up. :sadnew:
