Shadowmere of Nocturnus is open to the establishment of other faiths within the city, so long as it does not curtail, nor conflict with, the various arcane activities that occur. The Aslani faith has long been admired by General Fenrir Bloodcloak.

Bishop Jamon must think hard on an appropriate representative to send to Shadowmere. This should prove very interesting as well as the design of the temple itself. As Shadowmere's architecture is "darker" than the traditional architecture of the Order, a decision also must be made to either merge or contrast the two architectural styles.

All this talk of buildings in other cities got me building. In less than four hours I have built the Nestlands Trading Post in Mpya Stedor. I built it closed, as the proprietor and staff are at their daily prayers. I have included Squire Rikhard 'Redbird' Greisun, a Market Guard (one that went to Cobalt Vale and got upgraded equipment), and a Mpya Stedor lady hoping to purchase some more hair dye. I'll try to have it photographed tomorrow.

I like that.

Since I'm on the topic, is there any other city that would like the Aslanic Order to establish a presence in it?

Well, you'll be building temples for quite a while at this rate. But Messahmuk would definitely welcome an Aslanic Order temple. The city has always been very diverse and tolerant. The general style of architecture is Mediterranean drifting slightly Middle Eastern, although there's quite a bit of flexibility. Buildings in the city tend to be a bit run down. Oh, and make sure you pay off the Teamsters Guild, or you'll never get your building supplies.

Awesome :)

I will integrate it in my city somewhere in the future (just like the embassies of Kabel and Hyler Taliwell)

I think I'll buy 17 Uruk Hai minifigs so I can have my sig-fig looking at quite a big army in a large hallway or something. And what do you guys think of me using the Brute Armor from BrickWarriors and finding and using some sort of cloth capes that are used on the legs? (Where the hips and torso connect)

Bishop Jamon has selected and appointed the resident priests for the various towns and cities where an Aslanic temple will be built. The priests are now underway. In fact the enterprising priest assigned to Trifork has already hired builders to construct a temple there and expects it to be completed by the time of his arrival. Bishop Jamon was quite surprised by this unexpected news....

Haha, yes but it is nice to have a change of pace from my Aden's Gate build. As Messahmuk is practically right next door, Bishop Jamon will be sure to build a small temple there in the future.

General Fenrir looks forward to the construction!

I thought it might be a bit of a challenge!

The permits has been signed and a suitable lot found, and the Trifork city council is quite impressed by the swiftness of the Aslanic order. Lord Mayor Beorthan is following the construction with keen interest and has been most insisting in being invited to the inaguration of the temple, as it is likely to be the first spiritual building to open in the Trifork.

Guiys, bad news. Im sorting my legos and a fifth of the bricks I have sorted were Mega Bloks. :hmpf_bad: Kali Curse strikes again.

You could always sell those pieces and use the money to buy LEGO bricks.

LOL -- good one.

Unfortunately, not in this country. MB are worth more melted down into paperweights.

Not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, I love paperweights!

Anyways, I have some bad news myself. I didn't reach my budget I thought I'd have, I'm $140 short but I have about $270 I can spend hopefully this weekend or next week. Don't worry though, I'll be getting the $140 sometime in the very near future. So what I was thinking, I'm definitely going to buy the minifigs, armor, weapons, and pieces with the money so far. With the extra money, I'll buy other minifig accessories and parts, if need be.

I bought accidentally also some Megablocks on a garage sale 2 weeks ago. I use them as hidden foundation (just like Duplo) so I don't have to use my beautifull Legobricks for that :D

Almost all of my foundations are MBs that i bought years ago for extremely cheap (and new). I use them all the time to save on real bricks.

Hmmm, any building with foundations like that just won't last. I guess that explains why kaphalin architecture always ends up crumbling back into the sand.

Good joke... however I must reply that our cities are the oldest and most formidable of all the guilds. And, we didn't get to be the richest without pinching pennies somewhere.

I'm not even sure how I'd respond to this because most Kaliphlin architecture is not made from wood, as most Avalonians use, thus fire is no problem here in Kaliphlin.

And Kaliphlin architecture is a lot like this so this is made to last for a very long time, for the record.

Anyways, is anyone else going to be getting a few of these? It would definitely be a great additions to some of your armies or your sig-fig. I know I'll be picking up a few.

Also, I just thought of the perfect idea for my races' backstory. As for some concept art, what do you guys think of this?

That's beautiful Behemoth. Worth checking out other photos of the site too.

The PGTC has completed its Ruadh gallery. It's a small but rather....eye catching and distinctive building which requires an open plot in the city. Complicated story behind it is, I could only use what was actually on my desk, which means the contents of a PaB cup and a visit to the HKAGC. Will post when we get some of that famed Ruadh light here.

Actually, it might be a bit of a controversial structure. I don't want to lower the tone of the neighbourhood. SarahJoy, if you prefer it could be a Ruadhi gallery in Lost Vegas?

:classic:

Interesting and definitely doable to make a similar looking minifig... I could probably build it except I don't have the time to look for the pieces in my unsorted crates.
