I hope the Nestlands will be well represented. The head and hair of Aturl Prndrn, Nestlands Clans Minister of External Affairs, are quite easy to come by.

I do have his head and hair but not his torso. I guess I will have to improvise a bit as with robuko's fig?

Wait a second, if I'm understanding you correctly, you're making everyone's sig-fig from Kaliphlin? If so, that's cool and all but I hate to burst your bubble but my new sig-fig is going to be up sometime soon(ish). But, if you have the parts to the minifig in my signature, than you're fine.

Like I said  :

I'm not sure if I will ever have everyone's sigfig but I definitely will attempt to recreat one's sigfig if they have made a lasting impression on the Kaliphlin Guild.

It's okay, that torso was from Dumbledore in the Harry and the Hungrian Horntail set. Minimum cost in the US for just the torso (no arms) is $3.70. You can put him in something else blue and white. For story purposes, he made his living trading in disguise before entering public service. He may complain about how the builders of the Lost Vega casino are not on schedule. Just to clarify, the Minister isn't my sigfig. Sdair is on the newest incarnation of the Quest for the Egg of the Armored Eagle Goddess.

Currently I will be making a parts order for the Nestlands Embassy in Nocturnus soon. Part Three of Quest for the Egg (formerly Part Two) has been downsized, and the new Part Two gets to be a nightscape shot that I've been itching to try.

If anyone needs to build up their army, Castle Forest Ambush 70400-1 is currently on sale at Amazon and ToysRUs for $7.98. With four minifigures, that's about $2 per minifig, including weapons and shields. That's about as cheap as I've ever been able to build up the army. Plus you get a dog!

Good luck Mike!!! I did it for the first Book. It is a lot of work, but it is fun to have (almost) all the sigfigs :classic:

At my Kaliphlin friends (and other guildfriends): I am still alive. But there is a lot of activity in the Stedor real estate market, so Lord Dama has a lot of work to do lately... Normally he should have some Lego-time again in March...

I really miss you all :cry_sad:

Hello all. I'll be updating the Kaliphlin maps over the next few days (at long last!).

Please let me know if there are any towns, cities, points of interest, etc. that you all would like added to the maps. The general rule is there must at least be one build in a location before it makes it onto one of the maps. I know that Scaevola has some outstanding map requests. Ruadh has made it onto the latest versions already. Anyone else?

I might have one or two, Marmot but not until later this month. I believe I have to get them verified by Ska first, right?

Verified? I don't think so. You just have to post a build with a story that takes place in a certain geographic location, and then request that be added to the maps. Not all locations can fit on the maps, so it depends a bit on where it it is and how important it is to ongoing stories. If it's a location that crammed in near a bunch of other places, so there's not much room on the map for a label, and you only build one small MOC there and will never build again, I'll probably leave it off the map. But if it's a location kinda on its own geographically, and you're going to use for an ongoing storyline, it will probably make it onto the map at some point.

Just a reminder of where the Nestlands Clans of the Armored Eagle Goddess are located.

Sdair Zuuree is currently somewhere northeast of Sultan's Gate. The Quest for the Egg has been slow going, but Sdair fervent in his belief and will not give up.

Cobalt Vale is on the map. I didn't put the other ones in. With all those mountains around, it's a bit hard to see the labels. Is that OK? If I ever do a more detailed zoom-in map, we can definitely put them all in.

I know he is not on every day as he used to be but TUB had placed Carn on the Inland sea, but you may have already got that. Mike has a few things on Gorr now, I can't think of any other missing sites off the top of my head. I think we are still purposely leaving Lost Vega off the map still?

You don't have to verify from me, just build and tell us where it is. If it is in a spot that is not convenient for the guild, we can talk about where is more convenient.

Here are the member figs I have so far... robuko's needs a new torso/legs but going to be some time probably before I get anything similar to his character. Also a few heads are not exact duplicates...

The other names are the mountains. 'Nol' is the word for low mountain in the old language. (No one seems to have caught the Red Dwarf reference.)

Good job Masa. It looks like something that would be in Aturl's wardrobe. Just remember, that if there is food in the scene, Nestlands clansmen don't eat birds.

Looks good Mike... are there really only 13 of us active? (And I use that loosely since we have not seen Eryn in a little while. )

The few, the proud!

Oops. :look: (and no, for some inexplicable reason, I've never seen Red Dwarf...)

Looks great. That's a lot of work (and expense) to put everything together. In case others want to include each other in their builds, do we have a list of the parts for each person's fig? Like maybe on their wiki page?

Yes, I've got Carn too. I'll try to track down Mike's stuff in Gorr, or he could just tell me... As for Lost Vega, as long as you've got your wallet, no map is needed. In Kaliphlin, you don't find Lost Vega; Lost Vega finds you!

Glad to see your posting! Seems like your schedule is somewhat on same timeline as mine as I should be freed up to hopefully finish some of my bigger projects in March.

Basically my only map-able additions to Gorr are Blackrock formerly known as Aden's Gate and the Kaumatua Valley behind it.

Running an engineering department Barqa takes way to much time away from building, but after March I also hope to have time to start building more again...
