Posted August 27, 201311 yr The pic below depicts a new part ... yet I can't find it anywhere else. It appears to be a version of 44809 but with axle holes (non-smooth). Can anyone confirm if such part does exist and in which sets? Edited August 27, 201311 yr by DrJB
August 27, 201311 yr Do you have the link to the page where you found this? Seems like a legit part, although Bricklink doesn't seem to know it yet, if I am searching correctly.
August 27, 201311 yr Well that is Pin Connector Perpendicular 2 x 2 Bent. It's not that uncommon. It's in 9398 among others.
August 27, 201311 yr I believe he is referring to this parts pack: http://www.legoeduca...oss_blocks/1481 http://www.bricklink....asp?S=991405-1 Bricklink says the parts pack was released in 2008, and that's when it was added to Bricklink, with the picture that you have included above. The Bricklink inventory for the parts pack shows 44809, but that part doesn't have the axle cutout/slot on the top. I would imagine that either it's not new and undocumented. Or that the image on there is a pre-production part that was replaced with 44809.

I'd say it would be an improvement when compared to the former part. Maybe it is a bad Photoshop job. But on LE site, and since 2008. Weird! :P

August 27, 201311 yr Oh silly me. I didn't even see that it clearly had slots for axles. But if the part does not exist, how does it appear in a part pack?

August 27, 201311 yr Ok i get it now. Still like Conchas said, weird that the fake picture is on LE site.

August 27, 201311 yr Author The link is http://www.legoeduca...oss_blocks/1481 Well that is Pin Connector Perpendicular 2 x 2 Bent. It's not that uncommon. It's in 9398 among others. Not quite. The part I'm referring to has axle holes (cross). The one you're referring to has SMOOTH holes.
