I've been liking ships for a while now but sadly lack the right pieces- I like this thoough it's depressing seeing the pieces I need but don't have!!

Lovely to see more medieval ships! I would however appreciate some decent sized pictures with a cleaner background.

Hey,

thanks for your posts. I know the picture quality is very bad. I am only lacking in know-how and equipment for professional photography. I try to find someone who takes care of a great photo-look for my next creations.

Nobody here is a pro photographer and there are plenty of tutorials on how to do a better job. Your cog is really its a shame it doesn't get more attention. Just give it another shot and a different medium!

A simple background (white sheet/piece of some rigid material) and good lighting (outdoors on a cloudy day, avoid direct sunlight, don't use a built-in flash either) gets you a long way.

Most modern cameras can actually take ok pictures as long as they get good lighting.

some things I'd change:

first of all, make your own sails, the official sails don't neccesarily fit a cog. And second, I think you should place the shields in the aft section a little higher!
