The Legonater Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 "Ah weel, fer the sake o' th' Hall, I weel let him get away with it." Luridan suddenly changes the direction of his axe, missing Urshanam and turns back to his trolly-cum-laboratory to see if he can salvage his Mixture. Smartest thing you've done all day.
Duvors Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) "I'm taking a nap, don't talk 12 pages whilst I'm asleep!" "Nae likely, mare like 1,543!" Edited August 28, 2013 by Lord Duvors
Scorpiox Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) "I'm taking a nap, don't talk 12 pages whilst I'm asleep!" "I ain't sleepin' with ya'!" Edited August 28, 2013 by Scorpiox
Duvors Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Smartest thing you've done all day. "Shush, tha Visionary is asleep."
Endgame Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 "That's it, I'm done for tha' night. I can't stand this anarchy any longer - I'm off ta' bed. Any of ya' fine, girls fancy joinin' me in tha' cellar? Nothin' like a bit of late-night relaxation ta' take yer mind off things. How about ya, Eris? I haven't had a greenskin in far too long." The nord heads off, his offer open. Enya bites her lip. She had been alienated for so long, but... did she have standards anymore? The thought provoked a flurry of replies, all rubmling from the back of her mind. "Do it!" "You don't have any standards, do you?" "Don't do it, it isn't worth it." "Use that beauty for something. or are you just a brainless blonde?" "Don't sink so low." "At least bring a remedy." "Let the greenskin warm his bed, you're too frail anyway." Ultimately, she sighs and remains silenty, tapping her jittery fingers on the bar.
Pyrovisionary Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) "I ain't sleepin' with ya'!" "I wasn't suggesting it but it's good to see that your standards, however low they may be, exist." Edited August 28, 2013 by Pyrovisionary
Pandora Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Panduin holds his head in his hands. Some many damned people, and all talking, talking, talking, at once! Why did he even come to this city with all its .... beings? Claustrophobia sets in, and he takes a deep draught of beer. A very loud and prolonged belch heralds his spoken words. "That gremlin thing is bloody annoying, but I doubt killing him will help our fight against the Nephilim. So, there's a plan with a magnifying glass, and the purchaser took awhile to play ball. Plus some people have given gold to someone who wasn't known to be purchasing a magnifying glass. I have a reasonable idea of what's going on, but I've had to listen to you lot talking over each other for hours. You're all bastards until proven otherwise. Some of you have the makings of people I might trust, but I know better than to just blindly follow. I have no doubt this chatter will continue apace. Luridan, as I believe your name is, I suggest for all our sanity you just stop talking." Panduin belches loudly once more, as if in punctuation at the end of his short speech, and drinks more of his beer, encouraging himself.
Duvors Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) Luridan goes up to the bar, sits down, orders a drink, and bangs his head on the counter. Edited August 28, 2013 by Lord Duvors
Palathadric Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 If this objection continues, I suggest we give Retak 10 more Gold; then all the Gold he's supposed to spend will be ours, not his, and he will have no excuse not to buy the Magnifying Glass. "I believe he already had more than enough gold from our donations to him. Let's not dump more gold into a black hole unwilling to give us the fruits of our actions."
Brickdoctor Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 "I believe he already had more than enough gold from our donations to him. Let's not dump more gold into a black hole unwilling to give us the fruits of our actions." I thought some of us took their Gold back. In any case, it doesn't matter anymore, because he's already bought the Glass. Now if he'd use it...
Cutcobra Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 "This is true. If ya' really are one of us, take one for tha' team and keep goin', ya' may just reconcile yerself with a helpful brew." Skrupp grasps a nearby ale and downs it before kicking a nearby table and walking off. "That's it, I'm done for tha' night. Eris follows Skrupp into the cellar. This is probably going to be the only exiting thing that's going to happen to Eris in all day.
Palathadric Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Kob disagrees with the Visionary. Who's to say gremlin won't pass item off to scum? Kob does not want to see Nephilim rise again. "I have to say that Phoenix Essences, as I see them, are not that useful for the scum. Once they die, we know their alignment, so if they come back to life, we will still know their alignment and be able to kill them again. Or am I mistaken?"
Duvors Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 (edited) Luridans drink arrives and without even bothering to find out what it is drains it to the last drop. "Ah, at last I may start thinkin' clearly!" 1... 2... 3... "And o' corse as soon as I said tha' my mind goes blank." "I'm gang tae sleep, mayhaps It'l clear my head, I've been spouting drivel all day." Edited August 28, 2013 by Lord Duvors
Palathadric Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 "I don't think any Nephilim bastard would be stupid enough to try attackin' him head-on in tha' thread - it'd be a death-sentence." "If they were to attack him from range or with a spell, no one would know who is flinging it." I thought some of us took their Gold back. In any case, it doesn't matter anymore, because he's already bought the Glass. Now if he'd use it... "Pardon me. It seems like my mind is in the past still. Everything seems to move slower when you're my age."
PsyKater Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 "Well, thats exactly what I was talking about. Some of you keep telling me that there is a consensus on how to use the glass. But there isn't. Do I go up in the list or down? Who shall get the glass after me? Is this list good or is it better to do alphabetically? I dont feel good how some of you were pushing me to do something I am not yet convinced of. But I came to the conclusion that I will prove you by going with the original plan. This might clear or not clear the person who created the list.", says Yps, forgetful about names as ever. He takes his magnifying glass and uses it on Emmanuelle Janus.
swils Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 List and plan not hard. Alphabetical list given at start of day. List randomized by hero *1*. You first on list. We pool you gold, you investigate next on list. When next on list cleared, you pass glass to them. They clear next on list. And so on. As it is, you use glass on Skrupp. Plan not hard. Pay attention. Oh, and this list to use: Retak Ysp (PsyKater) Skrupp Oxstrong (Scorpiox) Luridan Voros (Lord Duvors) Swinehurst (swils) Fernandu Elysiam (Fred Daniel Yam) Zpilf (Flipz) Kob (Kintobor) Calico Meatpie (CallMePie) Pauline Jillian Boyle (Purpearljellyblob) O’Blix (-obelix-) Theodor Legion (The Legonater) Weyrdág (Wedge09) Zarissa Curie (Zakura) Sir Rubinstein (Rumble Strike) Shadir Oswain (Shadows) Panduin Oreheart (Pandora) Eris (Eric Su) Cromeo Nightingale (Chromeknight) Piro the Visionary (Pyrovisionary) Jeddam Ashenbow (Jedi master Brick) Capriccia Gianpaolo (Capt.JohnPaul) U’dargan (Darkdragon) Lorth-Anoob (LordoftheNoobs) Fleyra (Flare) Heron Jujube (herrJJ) Scamander Taurros (Scubacarrot) Jinnipher Buchaire (JimButcher) Usharnam Madima (UsernameMDM) Ezeal (Etzel) Brienne Deercourt (Brickdoctor) Ein Surefoot (Esurient) Pallas Thaddicus (Palathadric) Maxi Ebdul (Masked Builder) Corelin Moordog (CorneliusMurdock) Kharybdis (Kadabra) Doranee Grandeur (Dragonator) Geosmos Phiephyrphoe (joeshmoe554) Enya Dorgamel (Endgame) Werther Brickton (Waterbrick Down) Percival Montmartre (Peppermint M) Zelphie (Zepher) Emmanuelle Janus (emjajoas) *1* Hero might be bad angel. Acknowledged as hole in plan. Risk deemed worth it.
Capt.JohnPaul Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Capriccia does nothing for now, unsure what to say."If a trusted hero gets low on health, I will heal them."

Pauline Jillian Boyle sighs at Retak Ysp, "Why are you trying to stall time by doubting the list? We need a course of action so we can progress as a whole. This is what we have come up with so just get the ball rolling." Pauline Jillian Boyle suggests that the other hero in possession of the magnifying glass should use it on Retak Ysp, just in case Retak Ysp is Nephilim and clears the wrong people.
LordoftheNoobs Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Lorth-Anoob also does nothing, as she is unsure of what to do just now. "I also am willing to heal a friend, especially if they lend a helping hand."

swils Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 See *1*, refer to note 1. Keeps main message concise while clarifying later. Expected to have more notes. Ended up with just the one.
UsernameMDM Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 He takes his magnifying glass and uses it on Emmanuelle Janus.[/i] "Why not use the glass on the target most seem to suspect, the gremlin?"
Chromeknight Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 "Why not use the glass on the target most seem to suspect, the gremlin?" Oh, beautiful silly person. Because of the very unlikely, but possible situation where Ysp is secretly evil and Voros is secretly evil. Voros has been trolling for a lynch or at lease an investigation. If Ysp uses the glass to 'clear' Voros it'd be a little while before we straightened the mess out. A more likely scenario is Ysp is a true hero (odds are that he is, even if he dragged his feet over the glass) and that Voros is a true hero, but a fool. If that's the much more likely case, it's better to investigate someone else anyway since if Voros is a fool finding his alignment doesn't matter either way.
swils Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 "Why not use the glass on the target most seem to suspect, the gremlin?" Because plan. Gremlin number three on list anyway.
