piterx Posted September 1, 2013 Author Posted September 1, 2013 Thats really nice! Is it the Italian police that have green police cars? Just wondering. no that's the german one :) we have blue and dark blue cars because we got the police and something like the national guard....the one above is the forest guard :) Quote
Doc_Brown Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 no that's the german one :) we have blue and dark blue cars because we got the police and something like the national guard....the one above is the forest guard :) Ahh I see! Thanks for that. Sorry for OT but don't you have lambo's for highway patrol? Quote
piterx Posted September 1, 2013 Author Posted September 1, 2013 ahah yes we do but they usually use it for show off :) Quote
msx80 Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 fantastic moc piterx! i like compact technic models, and the panda is just an icon for us italians :) pleasepleaseplease make some instructions! it looks like a car anybody with a non-infinite amount of lego could build with a moderate cost, and i surely will! it would also be a great cuusoo project, methink :) Quote
piterx Posted September 2, 2013 Author Posted September 2, 2013 grazie caro :D yeah except for the motors and lipo battery it's not an expensive moc :) i definitely will make instructions...it may take some time but i will do it! Quote
Technyk32231 Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 I don't have the lipo battery, but I'm sure I can find some way to fit a regular PF battery in there. I really have way too many of them, I think I have seven. Quote
piterx Posted September 2, 2013 Author Posted September 2, 2013 well there's enough space to put it in....maybe you will have to remove one of the two seats to place the reciver :) Quote
Carrera124 Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Very well done. I am also interested in instructions (for the whole car). Of course, not for free, I would pay for them. Quote
Jeka Jackson Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) I've got a question) Don't the u-joints in the front axle fall out in the extreme turn angles? (Once I've met such problem with that type of joints) Edited September 4, 2013 by Jeka Jackson Quote
piterx Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 hmmm no...it only added some friction to the whole thing...that's why i decided to reduce the steering angle :P ps: in a week or a little more i'll start building the panda in ldraw :) Quote
nicjasno Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Looking forward to your ldraw model. Do you have your gymkhana fiesta in ldraw by any chance? Quote
piterx Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 hmmm unfortunately no nicjasno :/ i've just finished the polaris....ill publish it in some minutes ^^ Quote
Dreadredbeard Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Very clever way to use the servo motor for steering, I have never thought to use it directly like that :S Quote
JM1971 Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 (edited) I don't have the lipo battery, but I'm sure I can find some way to fit a regular PF battery in there. I really have way too many of them, I think I have seven. There is a lipo sized battery box that uses AAA batteries, much cheaper too ... http://powerfunction...ault.aspx#88000 Edited September 4, 2013 by JM1971 Quote
Technyk32231 Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 There is a lipo sized battery box that uses AAA batteries, much cheaper too ... http://powerfunction...ault.aspx#88000 I know, but I like a challenge. Quote
fizzley Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 Hi I've joined the forum just to ask(and beg) for instructions to make this magnificent model! I own three fiat panda's, 2 red and one light blue so perhaps I would build it in red :) I have bought a little technic lego to try out, it's very different from the lego I had when I was little but I enjoyed the building very much. Kind regards and keep up the good work :) Quote
bricky300 Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 no that's the german one :) we have blue and dark blue cars because we got the police and something like the national guard....the one above is the forest guard :) Just to get it clear the germans have blue and silver police cars by now, the green ones are the old ones. Foton Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Nice small compact car. Someday I may be good as you. Quote
