the two 5l beams you used in the front axle arent regular beams.... they have the cross pin hole on both sides and are half stud wide

i found that piece in the green truck of this summer

btw i remember in that place there was the L piece on the right :P

ah you should also put the piece on the left in the center of the gears holder...that's gonna be the mounting point for the servo motor :)

btw your reverse engineering skills are impressive haha

To be honest its not that difficult yet there are good pics of the bottom and the the steering assembly, its the stuff you cant see that will be tricky, conceiving stuff is much harder than copying from pics.

great job...it makes me feel really happy that you like this model so much to reverse engineering it

btw once you'll build it, you may want to correct something such as reinforcing the rear axle or changing the position of the front axle's links atachment

Speaking of reverse, you could video yourself taking models apart and the rest of us can reverse the video to build it, easy instructions (in theory) :D

The 8L steering rack is being naughty, because its 8 bricks long the steering goes slightly off center, usually these kinds of parts are 5,7,9 etc, another way is to use the 7L rack from the 9398 but the bigger gear means the steering goes further and could pull the steering assembly apart.

The suspension parts will be helpful, are the springs from a lego shock absorber?

For instructions I thought of doing this, take 10 parts off the model and render, take another 10 parts of then render, etc. etc. until there is none, then reverse the page numbers.

I'm enjoying doing this and to be fair your skills deserve all the credit and money, nice of you to offer.

afol1969 is one person I know of on these forums who can make really professional instructions from MLCAD, way much better than I could do

obviously we have to check what the shop wants exactly to do before you make instructions...i'll be able to tell it to you after the end of march when im going to the exposition!

Exactly, Ldraw is too difficult for me and LDD does not have the servo and L motors, anyone feel free to put their name forward and use the stuff done so far.

My 1st car was a red Fiat Panda. This is excellent. I want one! I would recommend deckchairs as back seats (that's what my Panda had!) The Simpsons set has good Lego deck chairs!

On the spirograph thread I think some guys converted a LDD to LDRAW and made some really good instructions in the end, it took a few weeks though.

I know how much you dont like doing this stuff so I could get the LDD as far as I can and you could take it from there, 3 times I've tried LDRAW in the past and it does not like my gaming pc at all, I can sort of get it work but its just too complicated for me anyway.
