September 8, 201311 yr Author Wow, it's looking great! Is there going to be room for seats, etc.? There might be some room for the top half of the seats, but not much else. Yes, and I was wrong. I thought they looked like these: http://www.brickshel...y.cgi?i=5828870 BTW, nice job on the steering. :) Can the u-joints handle the torque? If not, you should either use portal hubs or planetary gears. U-joints are fine so far, haven't had any problems.
September 10, 201311 yr Author Went tire shopping yesterday, got some Axial Ripsaw tires. Here they are on the LC80: Larger picture here Also got headlights working (you can kind-of see the lights working). Next steps: Adding another L-Motor, shortening wheelbase by 2, and working on wheel wells.
September 12, 201311 yr Nice! I'm pretty sure you're going to have problems with the 8t and 16t gears slipping, though. Or is that an axle joiner between them? Hehe sorry, I guess it is, hard to see at first glance.
September 12, 201311 yr Author Those custom tires (tyres?) look badass, how much did you pay for them? $43.98. Thankfully didn't have to pay shipping or anything because I bought them from a local hobby shop.
September 14, 201311 yr Author More progress! Getting close to the final product! All that's left are wheel wells, finishing up the rear, and maybe even some door trims. Also possibly some detail work (snorkel, winch, etc.). What do you guys think about the brush guard? Should it stay or is there a better way to build a similar one? Should I completely redesign it? As always, any comments, questions, and/or concerns are welcome. Edited September 14, 201311 yr by Victor Kojenov (TFOL)
September 14, 201311 yr I think it looks great, so far. I like the color you decided to go with, for it's different from the usual black or red a lot of people use. The brush guard is cool, but would look better in black, i think. Also, i really like the tires you bought - but i don't care for them on this particular MoC. Then again, it could be the LBG detail you added to the rims - i liked the wheels more before that was done. Overall a great look, though.

Then again, it could be the LBG detail you added to the rims - i liked the wheels more before that was done. What would you like to see done to the wheel hubs? Honestly I'm not too happy about the three spoke design either, so I'm all ears to any suggestions.
September 16, 201311 yr Author Update! Brush guard adjusted, looks much better now. Also started on mudguards, B&C pillars, and other such details. Also have a few details not seen in this picture, which will come later. As always, any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!
September 16, 201311 yr Looks awesome! But it also looks too heavy to perform well with one L motor :(

September 16, 201311 yr it came out really nice i love the front part well done! are you going to shoot a video?
September 16, 201311 yr Author Very nice looking, don't like the Y in the wheels though :( Have any suggestions on what to change it to?
September 16, 201311 yr Have any suggestions on what to change it to? I think that Y looking bad and will better to do without it
September 16, 201311 yr Author Looks great!. I think that you should leave the wheels with nothing on them I need to put something on the outside of the wheels though to hold them on the axle better...the wheels tend to slide off while crawling with nothing on the other side of the rims.
September 16, 201311 yr I need to put something on the outside of the wheels though to hold them on the axle better...the wheels tend to slide off while crawling with nothing on the other side of the rims. Maybe a Technic Disk or a 36t gear in black would work? Or a 3-blade thin liftarm?
July 4, 201410 yr A little bit of a late comment... but does anyone else saw that the front axle is two studs wider than the rear axle? or are there some extra pieces i haven't seen? (I am rebuilding this crawler and i just saw it, of course this is not a big problem but i just wanna know) I was using the picture where you can see the bottom. EDIT Already found a picture onbrickshelf where i see it fixed. Edited July 4, 201410 yr by Black-Build
