LukefromNJ Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Hi everybody! I'm currently living in Newtown, CT but I'm originally from New Jersey (hence the name). I had a few Lego kits here and there growing up (along with a brick bucket), but in general I only started seriously buying Legos recently. My other interests are (scale) model trains, cats, reading, travel, learning foreign languages, and watching TV (especially Britcoms). Quote
eurotrash Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 ...and watching TV (especially Britcoms). The Young Ones? Bottom? Spaced? Father Ted? You're in fine company. Welcome to the forums... Quote

VBBN Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Welcome to Eurobricks What foreign languages do you enjoy learning? Quote
LukefromNJ Posted September 2, 2013 Author Posted September 2, 2013 I saw the pilot episode of Black Books, but didn't really care for it (I'll probably give it another try at some point). I also like British dramedies such as Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and Life on Mars (When I heard Lego was releasing a series called Life on Mars I thought at first that it would be based off the TV series, but then to my disappointment I found out that it was just an actual astronaut/ space exploration themed set). So far I have studied Spanish and Italian in middle and high school (I can still understand them but don't really speak them too well anymore), German on Saturday school and in college (which I'm still fluent in), Mandarin Chinese in college (which I can understand and speak to some extent but have generally struggled with the written characters), and Arabic on some evening classes (at the moment I only know the Arabic alphabet and some words and phrases). Here's my Lego collection so far: Quote
Ragnar_Deerslayer Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Cool setup there! Do you just collect, or do you design your own creations? Ragnar Quote
LukefromNJ Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 I haven't really done any MOCs yet, just adjusted some details on the trucks here and there. Otherwise, I mostly collect. Quote
