This is so helpful. Thank you oh so much for contributing and adding length to the discussion so that there's more pointless RP to sift through in order to find actually useful information.

A note flutters down from the rafters.

The note says 'It wouldn't have happened if he hadn't followed me, also, I took a bath in real life.'

He has the excuse of not being allowed to do anything but roleplay. You don't. Also, nobody gives a darn when you bathe.

Another note flutters down.

'Yes but I wanted to have a reason to leave the conversation, and I have other things to do now so I won't be here anymore fore some time(A.K.A. the rest of the real world night).'

Nobody cares whether or not you're here since you haven't contributed anything useful to the Town except the items we stole from you.

The mute assassin steps in, signing to the wereoctopus, {Not all of us are detectives, my dear. Some of us are more used to battle and using our brawn over our brains.}

Waving his hands wildly Werther signaled to the rest of the group. {If we are certain that one of the magic users is part of the Nephilim, is it worth the risk of eliminating those all of them in hopes of finding whoever it might be? Alternatively if all of the magic users attacks can be accounted for last night or even yesterday can we not discover the one who joined in league to take down a known member of Heroica?}

I don't believe that's what's being suggested; the fact that Piro is one of those capable of using a magical attack is just something supporting our other suspicions.

"Results of actions in the day are shown at, like, the end of the day."

If we wait for results at the end of the day, how do we know we're not attacking a target that is already dead, or just short of attacking one? In this case, do we have any way to know if the attacks were successful or if the day will end and we're 1 hit short, thus wasting our efforts? Or on the other end, too many people attack and waste their attacks literally beating a dead horse.

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but it's just something I think I need to understand so I don't waste my actions any further by not using them or using them on a pointless target.

Actions are automatically successful. We usually have a good idea of how much Damage we can do; we just don't know how much HP the target has or whether or not he has any Defense or is being healed.

We know he had 20 HP from his level when it was public yesterday, and we have dealt comfortably over that. He couldn't have gained a level even if he was the one who killed Heron because he's level 20 and only gains levels in thirds. We have the perfect number of people attacking him right now.

What if he has some sort of defense? Have you accommodated for that?

Doubtful, but feel free to join in the attack if you want to ensure his death. :grin:

I could throw a bomb in the mix and free up someone else to do some other action.

Battle Mages can't use shields and even if he had an artefact it would only give him 1 SP so a bomb feels like overkill.

Still, my bombs do more damage than most weapons. I could contribute a bomb, and then we'd only need to spend, say, three people's actions on the attack instead of four.

We're already doing Rubensteins WP-1 damage overkill so I think we're good. Actions are resolved first come first served so healing is out of the question, and his max SP is theoretically 1. So really we should be good.

"Only two people're 'tacking--Kharybdis an' Cromeo." The third drawer from the bottom of a wardrobe stuck out a black helmet atop an ogre face, which winked at the Cannoneer before retreating back into the drawer's dark confines.

"And Sir Rubixcube or whatever, as well as me," corrected Calico.

And Rubenstein and Calico.

Theodor, think you could Bombard Ezeal for us if you want to get in on the Nephilim killing action?

I'm still not 100% certain the lion is a Nephilim. He has horrid judgement to be sure, but do we really know anything beyond that?

1. He associates with and defends Piro, a likely scum

2. He attacked a Townie with incredibly bad reasoning behind it yesterday

3. Two of his 'friends' distanced themselves from him in thread while apparently supporting him privately. How scummy, why would they lie if they believed it was a townie thing to do?

Looking around at all the angry heroes, he decides a visit to Sham Poo is in order.

"One set of Counterstrike Gloves please."

Handing Sham Poo the 25 gold, he heads out of the market stall again.

"That's a lot of gold," observes Calico bluntly, watching each coin pass from hand to hand.

All good points. I must have missed his friends distancing themselves from him. It does seem to point to a gang of scum.

I use a bomb on Ezeal.

"Jeez, watch where you chuck those things!" squeaks the halfling, pushing over a table to use as cover from the blast as the bomb sails across the saloon, though she watches it intently as it flies towards the werelion.
