"Jeez, watch where you chuck those things!" squeaks the halfling, pushing over a table to use as cover from the blast as the bomb sails across the saloon, though she watches it intently as it flies towards the werelion.

I am trained with these, you know, child.

"Excuse me?"

He looks over at the green lady.

"I don't feel safe around here, so I bought some gloves. Is that a crime?"

No, how do you have 25 gold?

{Considering that we all started with 10 gold, either someone trusted you with their gold, or you took part in the attack against Heron along with some other individuals since I can't see you taking someone out all on your own. I can't see someone trusting you yet as you didn't contribute much yesterday and the chances of you attacking the same target as someone else by mere chance seems less likely than being part of a targeted scum strike.}

"Stop this violence, it's no way to behave. We should work together to uncover the knaves."

That's what we're doing.

Piro was attacked last night based on a number of red flags he raised (to name a few: Playing outside the thread, being on Pauline's list, being one of the spellcasters who could have been the one to assault Calico and then Theodor). Despite the fact that we did 4 damage overkill he survived. That means he was Covered by another hero. He was scummy to neutral at best yesterday, and no sane townie would have Covered him. Ergo, it must have been a scumbuddy who knew he was on Pauline's list or knew he was under suspicion some other way.

I have killed nobody. Some trusted friends loaned me a bit of their gold because I am afraid of being attacked. As you can see, someone is picking us off one by one. I'd really rather not go down without a fight if it can be helped. Sham Poo has some nice items, it was hard to decide if I should get something to simply protect myself or something to injure my attackers. I chose the gloves because even if I am hurt, at least I can help Heroica with some damage to those who hurt me, before I die.

Alright folks. Ibwill be honest. I have been friends with Ezeal and Piro so far however I am not so dumb to trust my friends 100 percent. I do not know if they are really Heroica or not. Therefore I am all ears.

I have been listening to the ongoing conversation and heard my name come up a few times. It was in context to a suspicious sounding comment I made. I will not lie, I on purpose made that comment and it was phrased that way because Ezeal had convinced me that Kob was guilty. Obviously he was wrong. I am not sure if that means Ezeal was scum. His posts are not very scummy like in my opinion but he has had to spend the whole day defending himself so I don't know.

As for Piro, all I can say is that last night he encouraged me so he had not done any attacking. I would like to know why other heroes thibk that Piro is one of the Nephilim, as until now I have seen no actual suggestion as to why he has been Nephilim. From our pricate conversations he has not sounded scummy to me. But I am open to hear what you people think.

I am planning on attacking someone today but am unsure as I want to make sure to take down a Nephilim. So lets please be clear with our accusations.

Calico stood up on her chair after a few minutes of simultaneously brushing her feet and thinking intently.

"So, I've found, like, a little more evidence looking back at the past two days.

Three spells occurred on Day One. One on Paulie, one on Usharnam, one on me.

At least two occurred at night...the third possibly on Heron.

We have six spellcasters here.

By the sounds of it, the spellcasters were the same. Two light spells, two ice spells, and I'm totally willing to bet two lightning spells. Eris claims to have kept an eye on Retak last night. That leaves five. Retak Ysp was raising Kob. That leaves four. Shadir and Eris claim to have done nothing - that leaves (the late) Piro the Visionary and Zarrissa - who I'm also told was supposed to have healed me last night. Zarrissa did not.

So in addition to the turtle and the little gnomish pig, whichever other liar has been flinging ice spells at the Snakeman should, like fess up now. I might believe a Heroican did it because of his actions towards the gremlin yesterday - less so if whoever did so maintains their lie about it.

The point here, though, is that I think that, like, Zarrissa is one of the scum who either killed Paulie or tried to kill me...just in case any of the real Heroicans here need something to do."

The halfling sank back into her seat, propping her short feet up on the table with satisfaction.

That sounds honorable enough.

Agreed with Calico on both counts. Zarissa is likely scum and how on earth did you get at least two people to trust you with your meager contributions, U'dargan?

I do confess to sending ice spells at the naga. But seriously, if I was nephallim, why would I attack such a high level target. Would it not just be easier to wipe out the lower level heroes. I wish for someone to use the magnifying glass on me

Nopenopenope. No disrupting the plan, that defeats the whole point.

That doesn't make sense. You could've just said, "Ezeal has convinced me". You did, actually, say something to that effect. But the fact that you included the first sentence, the criticism of the action, makes me think that you just wanted to be able to leave yourself a statement to point to and use to try to escape with if (or in your case, perhaps when) you turned out to be wrong about Kob.

And it's highly unlikely that they were two different statements merged together, since the time window was very small and you yourself just said that you purposely phrased it that way.

Having requested an investigation, Should we announce to you who is glassing you also?

I honestly don't care who investigates me as long as it is done and hopefully they tell the truth.

"Well, if you say that's the case, both Shadir and Eris are lying and scum. Take your shot, gnome. We're not wasting the glass on you. It's two of the three of you."

That's WIFOM.

{Valid point, it does seem like the Nephilim are choosing the easy route. Perhaps those with shielding abilities should be protecting those that are weaker?}

Werther turned back to U'dargan, {I'm in agreement that it seems fishy for two people to trust you and rather convenient for someone of your stature and experience to have such a pair of equipment. If you are truely a member of Heroica, then the Nephilim will indeed have a difficult time removing you, however if you are part of the Nephilim those gloves almost ensure that it will be very difficult for us to remove you from our midst.}

They actually were two comments that merged together since I posted the second one a few minutes after the first. I'm not sure it really matters though.

Both of them? Or one of them?
