They actually were two comments that merged together since I posted the second one a few minutes after the first. I'm not sure it really matters though.

If you read through my statement, you would know that it absolutely does matter. I have no way of knowing for sure that they actually were separate, but like I said, it seems unlikely. And even if they were separate, it's still Wishy-Washy Sheeping on your part.

Both of them? Or one of them?

Considering someone else posted one minute after you, a merge is unlikely. And if Zarissa is town, then both of them must be scum, since there were three assaults (Piro, then 2 out of the three)

{Considering that Calico it does not appear that Calico was attacked with an ice spell, I feel this would clear those mages using ice magic from suspicion, considering that she is probably one of the easier targets. There for we should be looking for a mage that uses either lightning or light magic.}

The record books actually take the time of the last merged statement, so that would give him a five-minute window. Still unlikely, but a little longer.

I see. Still short considering it's a 180 degree turnaround between the two statements.

"It was a lightning spell that killied pantless mage, and a light one that hit me. I don't think who holds what gem is, like, gonna get us anywhere, it's too easy to lie about it. My point is that I believe I've narrowed down two scum to these three people."

Indeed.

By the way, anyone who was outside the Hall in discussion of the possibility of killing himself — allegedly to prevent anyone from gaining XP from the kill — would be exhibiting giving up and not caring enough to fight at its most obvious.

Piro was attacked last night based on a number of red flags he raised (to name a few: Playing outside the thread, being on Pauline's list, being one of the spellcasters who could have been the one to assault Calico and then Theodor). Despite the fact that we did 4 damage overkill he survived. That means he was Covered by another hero. He was scummy to neutral at best yesterday, and no sane townie would have Covered him. Ergo, it must have been a scumbuddy who knew he was on Pauline's list or knew he was under suspicion some other way.

"Speaking outside... the main hall (thread)..., while disreputable does... not make one a traitor... and neither does being... a spell caster. As to this list... I'm afraid I... cannot recall ever... laying eyes... on any such list... You say that... he was protected by... an ally last night... which matches the... story told by Ezeal... and Fleyra... I'm not saying... you are wrong... simply that there... is more than... a reasonable doubt... as to his guilt."

Eris sighed "I can't keep it anymore, I fired the spell at Theodor. I have my reasons, first there were the handcannon shots. Yes, Swinehurst said such a high level should have killed the low level heroes, but I am close to Theodor's level and my weapon is now higher than 2 WP, which would lead me to believe that Theodor's handcannon is between 4 or 6 WP, which I think can't kill the lower leveled. So I casted a spell at him. Attack me if you want, but after my death, which I hope will be far more exiting than the usual boring quests, you should know who to kill."

The main reason for the attack last night was to gain information, it's being Covered despite not being a strong protown player (especially being covered by the scummy Ezeal's crew) that cements him as being scummy, and being a spellcaster just digs his grave deeper. Obviously, magic usage isn't scummy in and of itself but on top of other evidence it looks like we've got our first Nephilim.

Theodor literally couldn't have fired a handcannon shot, everyone saw him using his action to make a bomb. Ping.

Given that that experience is unlikely to be such a huge deal in this game since there are only 42 xp points available of us (excepting of course 'shrooms) and that the level bonus is a mere +1HP,+1E...

Is it more about gold and items perhaps?

"Ping? She used a light spell, the exact same kind that hit me. That's not a ping, that's - that's a freakin' confession, practically."

{But it does make a difference my most excellent halfling. The pantless mage was killed by a lightning spell in conjunction with a hand cannon. I'd be willing to lay coin down that both attacks were from Nephilim targeting a low level experienced hero. A light spell and a hand cannon were also used against you, both were also probably from the Nephilim preparing to dispatch you during the evening. The ice spell directed at the Naga was probably from a misguided Hero. Thus we are seeking out a mage wielding a light spell or a lightning spell. Since the gnome is using an ice spell, it is highly unlikely that she is a Nephilim thus narrowing down our suspicions.}

"As if. It's already been established the gnome's a liar, why should we believe her when she says she targeted the snake with ice?"

That's true, didn't think of that! That makes Piro our Topaz user and Eris scum.

You are seriously thinking that because we have been working as a team that we are Nephilim? I bet that we are not the only group of friends that have been trying to work together in order to beat the dark angels, however we are the only group that has been publicly revealed (thanks a lot Etzel :hmpf:)

If by trying to help each other you find us guilty, then you should be suspecting many other heroes as well.

I do confess to sending ice spells at the naga. But seriously, if I was nephallim, why would I attack such a high level target. Would it not just be easier to wipe out the lower level heroes. I wish for someone to use the magnifying glass on me

"I have a better question: why'd ya ice tha Naga, after we discussed healin' Calico? It's not addin' up."

"Tha' said, I'm not pleased wi' tha idea o' killin' ya, especially wha' wi' yer 'bilities. Wha' say ya give Calico yer gemstone, an' then ye'll not be a threat--ye'll still be able ta help out at Nigh', but ya couldn't hurt no one. Wha'd'ya say?"

*12 new posts have been posted. Show them?* :wall:

"Gods be damned, y'all manage ta talk a lot while I'm organizin' me thoughts! Zarissa, why ye be thinkin' thoughts o' suicide?! Tha' is not a good idea fer tha Hall at all!"

"She don' have much--she gave her gold ta me (ta help me buy Counterstrike Gloves, ironic'ly), an' she ain' got much o' worth other'n tha'. Then again, she lied ta me abou' wha' she was plannin' ta do las' Nigh', so..." :def_shrug:

Not because you're working as a team, because you're scummy individually and your Scumminess increases exponentially when you consider that a) you're working together privately and b) you were trying to distance yourselves from each other publicly.

Hmm. I see your point. It does seem a bit scummy.

However I am not one of the Nephilim but it is obvious I cannot be sure about my friends, as there is no way to know one's alignment without a glass. However, I am positive of Piro's alignment with Heroica, even it is just a hunch.

"Well, we can't be sure of yours, either. Maybe if you'd help out instead of fluttering off today. I think Eris just pretty much confessed to have targeted Theodor and I...."

"We don't know Piro's a light-wielding mage, right now I'm thinkin' he was the one who, like, electrocuted pantsless mage to death on day one while Eris tried to fry Gramps and I."

So much to listen to.

Everyone should have seen me providing cover yesterday. I could not have shot anyone.

I also provided cover last night.

It appears that elemental usages should give us a pretty good idea of who is shooting whom. I'm curious to hear more squirming from the magically inclined to explain away these attacks.

Well, that's a very sensible argument that is based on logic and not entirely on your word. :sarcasm_hmpf:

I am positive ... just a hunch
