I expected something like the rogue's battleship... This is better then I expected. And there's a black mid-ship-piece!!!! Finally! Now, I only have to get seven of those from BL....

Mr Tiber

Hmm... Not bad. I probably won't buy it, but it's not a bad set. I do like the Skeleton captain though. *wub*

It's okay, a decant set, looks quite good, need to look at the picture more though.

Heh. I'm not to savvy with this one. Though, I think I will buy this one for parts or something, it does look abit nice!

Great to see that the Viking Hull is put to good use ;-)

Very nice set indeed !!

The gate and piera are nifty !! Ilove the right pat of the pier *wub*

And the skellie chief has a beard !! yeay !!

Onequestion: what s that part in light trans blue on the rear of the ship ?? Looks pretty good IMO ;-)

Am I correct to assume this will be a TRU exclu ?? Doesn't really matter though hehe :-D

Skellie On !!

EDIT: since its a new set, I shall rename that thread ;-)

*yoda*

Dont know if anyone wrote this, but Lego not make the same kind of Exslusive sets the last couple of years for Knights Kingdom... A Rooling tower and a wall, and yes he he a ship and a wall?

Btw the ship looks great *y*

Perfect!

A Pirate fan Can use it, not just the ship, but a fort with a wharehouse!

To good, I smell a ret...

Break out the pellets! It's a rat hunt! >:-)

Nicely put together, overall. I'm pretty pleased. The bearded pirate Skeleton is a nice touch, too.

Now, of only one of them had a peg leg, or perhaps a hook...

Want a peg leg for your skellie captain? Here's a suggestion. Thanks for the brillaint idea, Bloody Jay! ;-)

7029 Skeleton Ship Attack

Holy crap that's good! The small castle is good, but the ship is awesome. Definately getting this one.

I really like the castle part, it looks nice, withe the house part on the right (nice roof...). When I see this part, I imagine a port with a lot of life, some people who sell their fishes...

The ship is not as good as the castle part for me. It seems to be out of place in this line. In fact this ship has a too much "pirate feeling" that don't feet with the castle theme.

A ship like that? Yes, but in a pirate line!

For this ship, I will expect a more "squeleton boat": a boat with a structure which seems to be a spinal column and a more "bone" general look.

I'm curious to see what is inside the cabin...

Not my cup of tea.

I really don't like the ship, and the dock just seems like a collection of random bricks, thrown in to drive the price up. Perfect for a Toys R Us exclusive I suppose.

Cool castle part. Don't really like the actual ship though... its dissapointing!

I really like this set (I'm sure that comes as no surprise). I love the skeleton ship. The castle wall isn't too bad either. This new Castle theme is definately much better than KK. An army of undead... What more can one ask for. *skull*

PS. Great place to hide the treasure - kinda silly, isn't it?

First, thank you, "12k" for providing us with a picture of 7029! Secondly, this set is substantially different from what I suspected it might look like. (Although, the viking hull isn't surprising.) This is a good thing in my eyes. ;-) The dock has an interesting atmosphere, almost reminiscent of a game I watched my brother play not too long ago that was also fantasy based.

This set also has a nice variety of pieces for the pirate fans, and the black viking hull (and mid-piece) is an excellent addition. (This makes me wonder why TLC never made a pirate set with an all-black hull piece.) I just wish that the designers would quit stuffing the castle sets with these turret pieces. Let's hope the mold(s) for that piece breaks soon. ;-)

The top also looks like it might come off, in which case, there's a possibility that this set contains some hidden goodies.

If I do get around to buying this thing, it will almost certainly be when it's on sale because I'd hate to only own one black viking hull piece. (Not a member of bricklink/not old enough.)

I actually really like the castle bit, and the little building off to the side of the gates. This set reminds me a little of Pirates of the Caribbean. :-P I think the ship's pretty cool too, but I reckon they should make a bigger one.

Ooo! And it comes with a frog! ^.^

Seriously, what is up with the hat?

And the ship... meh... :-/

You mean...the pirate hat? I'd assume he's wearing it because he was redbeard in life (hence the grey beard now) :-P

I like the boat, the great hullpiece is a bit great, but the boat is good

The port/castle I did't expect is very nice, most parts are nice to moc. the treasure chest is on a very stupid place, but it is lego and we can fix that, the house? on the right is also nice it could be a good house for a fisherman.

3 soldiers and 4 skeletonpirates are a nice amount of figs

Wowee! I'll get two!~ That way I can make a bigger castle with the two small ones, and the 2 ships will become a ship similar to the Longship in design, Plus the cap'n has a blank bicorn for my Imperial Forces! Win-freakin'-win baby!

Beautiful. Couldn't be more perfect. :'-) A great small castle and an awesome skeleton ship, 7 minifigures, acessories, and lots of great pieces to go around. Kudos to whoever designed this (and basically the entire new Castle line). ;-)

Doesn't the ship look kind of like this one?

In that they are both boats, then yes. Besides that, no.

Take a closer look, actually. You'll notice three sections of slopes coming off the "cabin", which is also rather similar (if not just in looks, than in height and proportions)
