{Well as far as purchasing another Phoenix, I think it is indeed a good idea though who to bring back will take some consideration. As far as suspects, Calico and company have been brought up under a conspiracy charge though I find it difficult to believe considering all of the statements that have been made by them the past few days and considering that most of the accusations are based more on hype than substance. I think we can safely say that Retak is a Nephilim given the business with the magnifying glass and the fact that she hasn't offered up any counter explanation as to who else would have a diamond and could attack Calico on Day 1. Considering that Retak has claimed to have a diamond, the only unaccounted for gem seems a topaz if Enya is to believed and the only magic user to not claim a gem is Shadir, thus I am almost certain Shadir is the killer of Pauline from Day 1. If you require other suspects, there are plenty of lurkers and at least one who popped in today to incite panic, i.e. Doranee. Of the rest garnering attention today, Corelin, Fleyra, and Enya, I don't think any of them are really Nephilim at the time being and that the arguments made today about them stemmed more from emotion rather than real findings. It's all been said and you'd do well to read it, the last thing we need is an uniformed hall.}

{It is a simple fact, if according to you she is lying then ergo she must be a Nephilim and ergo worthy of an attack. Remember that all of us have weapons of the pretty much the same strength. Sometimes the doctor must also be a soldier in order to keep the enemy at bay. Either he is a Nephilim or you are and your wavering on action does not support your position very well.}

I never claimed to not know. I just didn't push out her name the second the day started. I was hoping she might come to me and explain herself. And I got nothing. She had a long enough time to confer with partners before "defending" herself publicly.

It's totally unsurprising that you just believe her without any proof either. She just pops in and says "didn't do it", and that's all you need, huh? No more questions asked. Not trying very hard to find the truth are you?

Why would I make up such a wild lie? It would be easily verifiable if she did anything else. But because I'm not with the supposed "town core", I'm not given any benefit of the doubt. And you have absolutely no evidence whatsoever about me. You can't because said evidence doesn't exist.

However you are proposing that the cleric is in league with Calico and company and confused you on purpose so they could attack Shadir, who you ended up protecting anyways? Between the possibility of that occurring and you lying to protect yourself from suspicion because you did in fact protect Shadir intentionally, the latter seems much more probable. For the time being I think we should figure out Shadir's allegiance first as he's already under heat for other condemning circumstances. If he's a Nephilim, I think it will be very telling about you and this entire affair.}

You could steal on suspicious people and if you find they have items they shouldn't have you would have figured something out. I guess?
