"Thanks. That really helped us a whole lot, I am glad we have you around. You know, for that tad of intelligence we would otherwise be lacking." Scamander digs in his pockets. He was almost out of paper...

"Right, I thought we only revive Skrupp. I raise Ezeal then. I think we won't revive him, right?"

"Because instead of doing something about your alleged Nephilim-ness, raising dead Nephilim seems tippy top."

Scamander gives his 10 gold to Swinehurst. "Spend it on a phoenix essence, when you can, bro." :sweet:

"Weel, frae what I can see he has full control over his minions, but I'd just be uncomfortable wi' an undead Nephillim walkin' around."

Actually someone is attacking me. And I'm pretty sure that once I drop my guard, a few others will take the oppurtunity to join in. Who suggested the plan that had an abysmal chance of actually clearing me? The one that wants me dead.

Right. Hide. Be selfish. How are you going to be useful if all you are going to do is hide, instead of dealing with allegations. Seriously. As for Retak, I'd assume you'd need weapons or gems or whatever to give your minions before they can attack? Suspicious... Suspicious... Enya, care to answer the question I asked you before, it's important?

Hm okay, it's weird Fleyra's attack didn't get shown then, but it should be all good then.

He did have some SP, so that may have softened Fleyra's initial blow.

Yeah, but according to Fleyra, he should have done a bunch of damage, which strokes with the fact that your attack took him out, so I think we still should have seen an arrow in the dragoon, but I don't know...

I'm hoping that somehow the evil will slip up in the night and at least a few of you will believe me. A certain Cleric may even want to try her scroll again. I feel that I have to survive one more day to fight the good fight. I'm sorry if you see that as selfish but it'll benefit us all if it helps expose the evil.

That day, Byblos had many helpers in his library. Zpilf, Swinehurst, Sir Rubinstein, Werther Brickton, Enya Dorgamel, Scamander Taurros, Pallas Thaddicus and Kharybdis (still in her octopus form) all successfully aided Byblos in the translation work.

"The work is complete! Let us see: King Haeresias was the last ruler of the Moon Elven Kingdom of Mercution before it sunk into the Crystalline Ocean. His closest advisors were Sorceress Ambergaze of Babeleth and a dark angel called the Lightshunner. Oh! So it seems that Lucifuge had his wings on the matter of the cursed kingdom of Mercution as well! The legends tell that a thousand years ago the Moon Elven kingdom got overrun by demons, and the Wizard Priests of Ennon had to sink it down to the bottom of the ocean. If historians are not mistaken, the Free Islands could very well be the only remains of Mercution. As the saying goes, the plot thickens... Thank you for your help, everyone! This gives me another lead to work on."

Sham also had visitors during the day, as Fleyra bought a potion and Ein Surefoot a tonic from him.

"Thank you for your patronage! Ka-ching!"

At the main hall, things got heated again.

catdaythree9.jpg

Panduin Oreheart and Scamander Taurros enjoyed their refreshing drinks together as Fleyra took off on her wings again.

catdaythree10.jpg

Shadir Oswain got ganged up against by Werther Brickton, O'blix, Zarissa and an unknown arrow-shooter.

catdaythree21.jpg

Theodor Legion made Doranee Grandeur explode, with her artifial leg flying against the wall with a loud clank.

catdaythree11.jpg

Sir Rubinstein in turn drove his sword through Fernandu Elysiam's shoulder.

catdaythree12.jpg

Kharybdis in her bestial form wrapped her tentacles around Shadir, Enya and Retak Ysp, and flung them all across the room.

catdaythree13.jpg

As the three tried to recover, Kharybdis reverted back to her humanoid form.

"That was fun!"

catdaythree14.jpg

Calico Meatpie was blown to bits by a bomb, just as Brienne Deercourt was rushing to cover for her again. Maxi Ebdul looked at Brienne through his magnifying glass.

catava-rogue2.jpg

"Very interesting..."

catdaythree16.jpgcatdaythree15.jpg

Ein Surefoot healed Emmanuelle Janus, while Corelin Moordog blocked Capriccia Gianpaolo's attack.

catdaythree18.jpg

Geosmos Phiephyrphoe continued whispering around, this time to Scamander Taurros. Zelphie just worked on her weapon without anyone stopping her.

catdaythree17.jpg

Meanwhile, Luridan Voros had dragged Piro the Visionary's body to the Training Room, where he applied the Phoenix Essence on him. Miraculously, the wereturtle Battle Mage sprung back to life!

catdaythree19.jpg

Then Luridan returned to the main hall, where he joined Usharnam Madima, Enya Dorgamel and Swinehurst in their effort to slay Retak Ysp.

catdaythree20.jpg

As the necromancer fell to the ground dead, so did the two corpses he raised. Heron Jujube and Kob were gone once more.

catdaythree22.jpg

As the final number for the day, Jeddam Ashenbow got an arrow to her hip.

When the bodies had been dragged away, the Dragonlord then gathered the surviving heroes for an important announcement.

catdaythree23.jpg

heroicanpc-dragonlord.jpg

"Listen up! We haven't made progress on the case the way I expected to, and much of it is because of cowardice and indifference riddling some individuals among you. Let it be hence known that if you don't take action for a consecutive day and night, you will get to meet my dragon, Smaragdea. And let me tell you that the meeting will not be pleasant! She does not care whether you're innocent or not, so either do your part in this ordeal, or become her snack!"

The horrified heroes retired for the night, thinking if the Veteran was being serious, or simply out of his mind.

Again, the Veterans examined the corpses that got left from the day. This time, the horrendous vision of the dark angel appeared over the body of Retak Ysp, revealing him to have been a Nephilim. In a blink, it was gone. Calico and Doranee were apparently loyal to Heroica all along.

catdaythree24.jpg

heroicanpc-sandqueen.jpg

"A second Nephilim defeated, but who knows how many of them are left?"

Host Note: The Day has (finally) ended. You can now send in your night actions.
