Endgame Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I think the best think to do at this point is to kill the remaining mages "You can't be serious. Kill every single magic user?"
Zepher Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 "I've been quiet, I do not deny it. There has been so much yapping and yelling by the young and anxious heroes, I find it difficult to follow everything. So I sit back and observe instead of cluttering the conversation with my own nonsense and postulation. I said yesterday I believed we should focus on rooting foes out of the big groups - I did not think that a Nepheliem would be so bold as to attack the first day, but I was wrong in that - Ezeal was indeed evil, and was part of a group." "I'd like to call into question the other group of heroes who have made themselves vocal. Calcio, Chromeo and their fellows. I do not doubt at all that one of them is a dark angel's vessel. However, it appears we are killing the mages today. Extermination appears to be the only way that we can be sure and safe from them, or so you'd have us believe. I am not sure that I support that theory, but am equally unsure I can oppose it. Radiant Retak in particular seems a strange target to me, beautiful Calcio. We know his actions more than most, and there is little reason to find them evil. Why are you leading us on this purge?"
Duvors Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 "You can't be serious. Kill every single magic user?" "Now tha' is just stupid."
Masked Builder Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Last night I used my magnifying glass on Fleyra, she's loyal to Heroica my friends. And she can confirm that I did this. I am going to use my magnifying glass on Brienne Deercourt.

CMP Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 "You can't be serious. Kill every single magic user?" "I meant the three that're in question right now. You, Shadir, and Retak. Two of you are Nephilim, of that we're sure." "I'd like to call into question the other group of heroes who have made themselves vocal. Calcio, Chromeo and their fellows. "What actions? I just realized we didn't actually, like, see him investigate anyone on Day One, when the next day we quite clearly saw Ebdul do so to the Dragoon. Curious, ain't it?""
CorneliusMurdock Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 "Kill the remaining mages"? Where does that sort of thing end? With the evil overpowering us. I can tell which way the wind is blowing. I will provide cover for myself. Fellow ranged classes, don't be fooled. We're next on her agenda. No reasoning will dissuade them. In a situation that's amazingly transparent and the evil have few places to hide, we have been told that mass executions is the best way to solve our problems instead of rational thinking.

Dragonator Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 "Three days, and the only thing you add to the conversation is someone else's thoughts? You don't seem to notice that me and Theodor are killing you, for example. Nothing to say about that? In any case, I don't know what the Dragoon was up to, but he sure as hell didn't do anything to help us." Yes you do seem to be attacking me, how very rash of you, when you haven't even had a response from me. "You can't be serious. Kill every single magic user?" Sadly I think she is. I am beginning to suspect that the Nephilim are not being as subtle as we might think. Perhaps they are in reality, trying to lead the charge in order to appear like one of us. Take Calico here as a fine example. She outrageously attacked our Dragoon yesterday and encouraged others to do the same, without really contemplating any of her words. Now she's attacking me for no reason other than that I haven't had a great deal to say, when she is also at the same time encouraging you all to kill every single mage. Does that really seem like the rash behaviour of a hero to you? It sure doesn't to me. In my opinion we should all focus out attacks on one of her little "group", who I should add came together extremely quickly without much reason for doing so, in order to find out whether one of them is one of the cursed Nephilim. I think it's obvious one or all of them are; they have done nothing but kill Heroes so far. They jump at the slightest excuse and kill someone off, then make excuses later. Well I may be a low level but I sure hope the rest of you aren't just going to stand around while they do that.

Chromeknight Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 "It seems that Swinehurst and Theodor Legion are both true Heroicans. Either that or the Nephilim deemed it necessary to sacrifice one of their own to save two." Heyo snakey man! I am pointing out wit my pointer that Swinehurst could be kill stealing to keep Ezeal's items for the secretly evil ones. That and the xp too.

Don't try to play the innocent, you've been trying to lead everyone along all this time. You're just out to kill as many people as you can as fast as possible, that is clearly obvious. Have you helped kill any Nephilim thus far? No. You've just silenced every Hero that had an opinion about you. Don't fall for Calico's schemes any more people, we need to clear this up now before too many more of us are dead. I think it should be pretty obvious what is going on.

CMP Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Fellow ranged classes, don't be fooled. We're next on her agenda. No reasoning will dissuade them. In a situation that's amazingly transparent and the evil have few places to hide, we have been told that mass executions is the best way to solve our problems instead of rational thinking. "Of course the ranged classes are next. Two handcannoneers were behind the killings on Day One. You and Doranee, specifically. You cleverly Covered Retak in public, admittedly a good move for somebody so late to the party, townie or otherwise. But it was easy to change your target once you'd done so, wasn't it? You and Retak are both scum, and he had the glass, so it was a good bet he wouldn't be attacked anyway, leaving you in the clear to take the shot. Who was it, Corelin? Me or Paulie?" "Doranee is the other, as has become (finally) obvious. We were quite suspicious of your snooping and sneaking on day one without saying a thing, but isn't it curious how the Veterans kept you around anyway? I'm convinced they would've taken action if you'd done absolutely nothing, so the obvious answer is, you did do something: you've been shooting us up like crazy over the past three days. I'm pretty sure Panduin can attest to that." "Speaking of day one killings, I think Enya had at least a hand in that. This mess about being unable to use raw spells sounds pretty ridiculous to me. Why would you have an attack that's so blatantly obvious it's coming from you, not to mention one that's so outright powerful? "Retak got lucky. Very lucky. Being picked for the glass first put him in a very good position. He was able to quickly get suspicion off of his back by clearing Emmanuelle, but what happened after he passed the glass? Skrupp gets his eyes burned out by your magic, and either Doranee's or Corelin's explosive." "Zelphie, my beautiful winged insect. Have you been having fun with that staff of yours over there? The line between sheep and scum is so blurred, yet in two posts you make your angle so much more clear. You constant enhancing has made me wary of you. I suppose we can see now why that is." "Then of course we have Fleyra, who's been flapping and flying all over the place in public, private, and with her actions." "My fellow Heroicans, I submit to you, the list of two-faced dark angel pieces of crap. And in case you don't believe me, here's what I believe has been going on, all in a nutshell." Day 1: Corelin Moordog (CorneliusMurdock) ~ Covered Retak in public, actually attacked Calico/Pauline with handcannon Doranee Grandeur (Dragonator) ~ Attacked Calico/Pauline with handcannon Enya Dorgamel (Endgame) ~ Attacked Pauline with Topaz Ezeal (Etzel) ~ Attacked Kob Fleyra (Flare) ~ Fly Retak Ysp (PsyKater) ~ Attacked Calico with Diamond Zelphie (Zepher) ~ Enhanced staff Night 1: Corelin Moordog (CorneliusMurdock) ~ Covered scummate? Doranee Grandeur (Dragonator) ~ Attacked Panduin with handcannon Enya Dorgamel (Endgame) ~ Attacked Heron with Topaz Ezeal (Etzel) ~ Unknown Fleyra (Flare) ~ Fly Retak Ysp (PsyKater) ~ Raised Kob Zelphie (Zepher) ~ Enhanced staff Day 2: Corelin Moordog (CorneliusMurdock) ~ Attacked Panduin with handcannon/lobbed bomb at Skrupp Doranee Grandeur (Dragonator) ~ Attacked Panduin with handcannon/lobbed bomb at Skrupp Enya Dorgamel (Endgame) ~ Attacked U'Dargan with Topaz spirit Ezeal (Etzel) ~ Drank Potion Fleyra (Flare) ~ Said he attacked U'Dargan. I don't see any arrows here, Fleyra. Retak Ysp (PsyKater) ~ Attacked Skrupp with Diamond spell Zelphie (Zepher) ~ Enhanced staff Past this, it's just guesswork. We've had, like, no deaths since then. Of course, you can see what they're all doing now today. After days of silence three of them finally jump into action to gang up on me - not subtle, Nephies - , while Fleyra flies off because he's aware of our suspicions. There may absolutely be more, but I'm quite convinced on these seven. I hope that you'll be able to see once they start coming up Nephilim and I turn up Heroican." Don't fall for Calico's schemes any more people, we need to clear this up now before too many more of us are dead. I think it should be pretty obvious what is going on. "It is. Work on staggering your attacks or something rather than three of you suddenly waking up to attack the town leader. Like, seriously." Have you helped kill any Nephilim thus far? No. "Actually, I had a hand in Ezeal's death. If you'd been doing anything but shooting us up day after day, you might've learned that."
Endgame Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 "You're just killing class by class, systematically, Calico. Not to mention your entire theory falls to shambles because I know my own abilities. " I stab Calico Meatpie (CallMePie).
Chromeknight Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 "Could be, but isn't the point to outnumber us Heroicans?" Heyo pretty scales Yes. Glad to see you're thinking. I have been thinking too about why a secretly evil person would want to kill another secretly evil person. I have a terrifying idea. Theory: There are not as many Nephilm as we might usually expect, but when one dies a hero can be converted to replace them. Evidence: Everybody has an attack. Everybody. Perhaps that's because we need to kill more than one Nephilim in a phase. Maybe we need to kill all of them in one go. Or at least two so they only regain one overnight. Evidence: no kill last night, does that mean there was conversion? Evidence: high number of allegiance revealing magnifying glasses and tracking telescopes. (ie cops) Evidence: high number of blockers (ie doctors) Evidence: originally levels were public, so perhaps Nephilim aren't totally dependent on killing to win, merely surviving. Evidence: items and gold are important. So it's expected that Nephilim might kill steal to keep such. Evidence: pheonix essences used on people dying overnight have a chance of revealing (melee) attackers, thus Nephilm are unlikely to attack at night Evidence: ranged/magic attack anonymity will lead to purge of those classes (as is happening now) drastically reducing nephilim's ways of winning by outright killing. Of course, I could be smoking the good stuff. But that's what looking at the shape of this situation leads me to think.
CMP Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Theory: There are not as many Nephilm as we might usually expect, but when one dies a hero can be converted to replace them. "Then how could we possibly expect to defeat them, if they're in an endless loop of conversion? We'd have to kill, like, every single Nephilim in a single phase."
