That is a very good thing, it is important to be inspired by others!!! Glad that I am the one that inspires you :wink:

Well amongst luck, I wish you plenty of it, I also encourage you not to give up to easy. First you have to get to know LDD and after that you have to get into the model itself. You have to be patient and please hang in there!!!

With the release of US Truck T1 MkII the earlier released US Truck T2 MkII was outdated immediately! This while it was only released a couple of months ago. So here is an upgraded version of this truck: Truck T2 MkII v2.0...

Look up the differences I am sure you'll find them easily. Check the pictures and find out. Maybe you start wondering why an another update of the same model, well because I can... :-)

At the same time those who purchased the instructions for "v1.0" will benefit as well. You can stick to the previous version if you want to, or if you don't want to or can't invest in required extra parts. Do you want it upgraded, please go ahead and have some more fun rebuilding this model!

Cheers, Ingmar Spijkhoven

Simply an awesome truck. Seeing your trucks is what inspired me to build my first proper sized truck in technic lego ([TS6] concrete truck MK II). Going to have to buy your instructions since trucks are my weak spot. Again superb truck  .

Thanks for the kind words! Great that I am inspiring you to build as well. Did not know you built the concrete truck, but I'll look it up right away! :classic:

Great that you are going to buy my instructions, this way you support me to release more instructions, so another thank you!!!

Ingmar......... I'm thinking of changing this fantastic build, do you possibly have a list of the additional parts needed to 'up-grade' the version V.1 to the V.2 version?

I'm guessing the chassis is still the same? Just thinking in advance, maybe change this before this years' Brickworld Indy display? Thanks

Yeah, I thought that would be helpful, but did not yet got the change to make it. I will have it finished early this week! So you can easily check what parts are needed...

The chassis is for 99% the same, compare page 34 (v2.0) with page 138 (v1.0) to find out one change that make you take the chassis apart. This is not hard to do, I am sure you'll manage within an hour.

Page 30 and 31 (v2.0) showing another major change because of the new bumper.

Also is the bumper changed, and that is about it.

Other changes are mainly body work matters... Hopefully you manage to change it before this years' show!!! That would be nice...it is so much better!!!

Off topic a bit, do you still have plan to release the instructions for the dolly to your lowloader?

Yes it is... but I don't mind answering your question. Yes I have for sure! Within a couple of weeks, check me on YouTube where you find a test run with a full lowboy setup. This will show you both the jeep and the booster of which instructions will be available. These will be in a single set...

beautiful truck! Really liked the color scheme already from the first truck! Your work has inspired me to build my rubber duck better and more detailed! cheers!

That is always a good thing, being inspired and upgrade your own design!!!:wub::grin:

Thanks Ingmar for your reply.

I'm two weeks away from my display time, don't know if I can change/up-grade this original beauty to your v2.0 version. ( It was just something I was thinking about after your message )

Are your BI changed, or are you going to offer two different BI? ( I kind of went through them in a hurry, also noting the parts list )

It appears the body work and interior changes have been made?

As one of your many followers, who purchased the v1.0 BI, will I get a link or will I get access to v2.0 BI?

Well, that is in a short notice, the question is will you get the parts in time? :sceptic:

Hopefully today a link will be added with the BSX file that contains the parts needed to upgrade from v1 to v2!

Everyone who has purchased the BI for v1 will have access to v2 as well. This because the BI available on MOCplans basically have been replaced. Not these BI contain both v1 and v2 instead of only v1. So those who want to upgrade can do so, those who won't are free to do so as well.

So just go to MOCplans as you did with v1 and you will see it for yourself...:blush:

You Rock Ingmar!  I went to my account and 'played' with the BI, as you said both copies of the BI are there, thank-you so much............it all makes sense now!:thumbup:

Oh yes, I hoping not to need Bricklink, as I have a lot of White bricks that hopefully will support v2.0 changes, without any outside orders.

Great that is makes sense now, enjoy the upgrade!

BTW at MOCplans a BSX file is added that shows exactly what parts are needed to upgrade from v1 to v2... Now you can see if you have enough parts or not...

I think it looks much better without the side skirts. The gap between the wheels and the trailer body is less obvious this way.

And the color scheme is just awesome
