I recently started building an Inn:

It can be opened.

You can easily take the first floor away.

I'm planning to add another floor after the first floor's finished.

What do you think?

And what do you reccomend me?

Looking forward to your comments!

That is going to be quite a large Inn Mr. Tiber!

I like those cornerstones.

When making such a big building with that many "square meters" I would suggest that you increase the height of the ceiling/second floor.

Instead of six bricks high I would make it nine or ten. That 'll make your building more spacious and on top of that you'll be able to add chandeliers (kroonluchters) hanging down from the ceiling.

I am anxious to see the final result.

And.... I would add another front door.... :-D

Keep it going!

Looking nice so far, Mr. Tiber. I don't have much to say about it now besides I will gladdly await some more progress. Keep up the good work. *y*

I would actually like it more as a pirate inn, and I too am surprised that you didn't post it there.

Are you sure this is in the right forum ;-)

Yes, I thought the same thing upon my arrival to this thread, Mr. Tiber. Hopefully, you shall show us the light, and prove us wrong. ;-)

The exterior looks mighty fine, so far. I noticed that the inn has two stud wide black timbers, instead of the usual "one stud wide" standard. What roof color do you intend to use?

Looking good! An interesting take on the removable floor. I also learned the height lesson the hard way... ; )

God Bless,

Mr. Tiber,

First off, was that Evil Willy eating a piece of turkey, in your first post?

That'll be a nice inn. Do you accept business from Black Falcons? I've got some that need a break X-D

Do you plan on putting chandeliers like simon suggested?

The only thing that i might suggest is that the windows on the bottom level seem low or the ceiling is too high now. Maybe raise the windows a plate or two, or lower the ceiling a brick or less.

It's not a big deal at all; just an aesthetic suggestion.

Looking very good so far.

I think it was a good idea of you to make the floors higher, and the tudor looks much better then it did previously.

If you have enough tiles, I think you should definitely make the first floor grey, (or some other colour, as long as it looks like an actual floor, and not grass.)

Do you have a headlight brick in grey? If you do, I think you should replace the black one holding up the flag in front. I also think it would look better if you raised the flag a bit, so it's at least above the door.

Good luck with this, it's looking to be a promising creation. :-)

This is turning out great, I think the walls are just great now, being raised and all.

Sir Dillon is right about the flag, it will look better hanging above the door, but when you first attached the flag there wasn't any room above the door because of the second floor....

Keep constructing! *y*

Again, great job *wub*

It's also an useful occasion to see some pirates sigfigs (Nice to meet ZCerberus and Steve :-P ). You all quite tend to keep to your garden, and are not that visible in the other forums :-$ .
